Quickly Ed ran alongside the river as it lead to Resembol. As he reached the the river as it split paths, Ed knew it was just beyond the hills. Quickly Ed ran up the hills towards Resembol. 'Wonder if Winry missed me?' Ed chuckled as he reached the top of hill. Looking at it Ed thought sadly 'Now I need those to fight Sloth.' as he walked towards it.
Quickly reaching Winry's house, Ed knocked on the door. "Hello!? Anybody here!?" He said as he waited for someone to answer. Ed could hear footsteps pacing across the house as someone opened the door. Problem was it wasn't Pinako or Winry. It was Lt. Maria Ross!?
"Ed! Oh I am so glad to see you!" She said as she opened the door.
"Uh!! Oh okay!?" He said after she let go, he crawled back a few feet and was shocked! Maria Ross was here then that means that Lt. Denny Brosh was sure to be here.
"Hey Ed." He said from behind Ed, shocking him even more.
Clasping his hands together, Ed readied himself. "Alright, if you want a fight then go ahead!"
Maria Ross sweatdropped as she walked over to him. "Now, now, Ed! Its okay! We came here to find out the truth of whats going on. Come on in while Winry and Pinako are gone. Sheska's here as well." She told him. "Come on in! We have alot to talk about."
"Umm, okay?" Ed said as he entered the house. Ed sat down on the couch. "Now why are you guys here?" Ed questioned them.
"Well, we received orders to capture or kill you from the Fuhrer. He was saying things like you were responsible for the deaths in Lior. He even said that you were working with the Homnuculi!" Maria told him as they sat there.
"Yeah, and since she met you before now she thought something was up. So she decided to take me with her and come here to your hometown to ask you what really happend." Denny said as he took out a cigarette and began to light it and smoke.
"Has anyone seen that book of alchemy that was around here!?" Came a voice as it entered the living room. "I never read it before and I was hoping to see whats in it." Sheska said as she looked around. That's when she noticed a certain someone.
"Ed! It's so good to see you!" She gasped for joy as she hugged him. Then she started to whin "It's your fault that the Fuhrer and those Homnu-whatever their called are trying to kill me!" She gasped as she rocked him back and forth.
'Why me!?' Ed thought as he was shaked.
---Meanwhile, at Ed&Al's place---
Al sat there reading a book, his seemed completly absorbed in it. After deciding this would be their new home, Al had gone and thought of a massive Alchemic and historical library containing books Ed and Al had never read or even heard of before. His new found alchemic abilities seem to grant him the ability make things good as new and even make things that haven't been seen in ages.
The book contained knowledge about a dead religion called Christianity. What took his interest in it particularily was that it revolved around the Seven Sins, depicting each of the sins and their punishment in hell. Al in his own way understood why they have the powers that they do. The title of the book was Dante's Inferno.
All the while Riza was polishing her gun.
---Meanwhile with Roy---
As they drove into Central, Roy couldn't help but feel naked without Riza by his side. "Hurry Falman, we have to report to the Fuhrer about whats happend." Roy told him as he drove, Falman nodded. Roy had told the rest of his men to go to Resembol to tell Winry of whats happening.
As they reached the front doors that lead into HQ, Roy opened the door and quickly entered Central HQ. He spent no time waiting for anyone to stop him. He walked all the way towards the Fuhrers office. Knocking, he heard a voice. "Come in." It said as Roy entered.
There sitting on a couch enjoying his tea was his majesty King Fuhrer President Bradley. "Ah, now what do you have to report of your travels in Resembol Lt. Colonel?" He asked him as he gestured him to sit down on the couch across from his.
"Yes sir!" Roy saluted as he sat down. "I have recently traveled to Resembol to find the Fullmetal Alchemist and his brother. However, all I found was this." Roy pulled out a picture. It had what looked like a ruined piece of armor that had rusted and a short midget corpse burnt to the point of ashes. "The Fullmetal tried to use the stone only to have the power of it destroy him and his brother." Roy told him.
The Fuhrer got up and turned around, while his face was calm his anger was boiling. 'The pathectic humans! How dare they try to use my masters prize. I had such pride in thos boys when they served my masters divine plan!' Pride thought as he turned around smiling. "That will be all then." He said as Roy saluted him again, exiting the room.
"That was easier than expected." Roy said as he readied to leave Central. The Fuhrer meanwhile, was ready to kill something.
"I must inform my master." Pride said as he pulled a lever, allowing his secret elevator to be revealed. Entering it, the elevator moved down into the Mansion of his master.
