Back in the house in the woods, Hawkeye was calmly cleaning her gun as her cage swung slightly in the breeze, Al was reading a book, and Ed was lying on his back, staring at the ceiling, bored as hell.
"What the hells taking the Col. so long?" Ed said out loud, shattering the silence.
Al looked up from his book and said, "Well, it's a long way from Resembool to Central."
"Yeah, I guess. But I'm still bored! And I don't want to watch another movie!" He added as Al looked like he was about to transmute something.
Al sighed and said, "Well, what do you want to do?"
Ed thought about it, then said, "I think I should go visit Mom's grave..."
Al looked surprise. "Why Brother?"
"I just...feel like seeing her..."
"Well okay...I'll go with you."
"No! You have to stay here and...watch Hawkeye. I won't be out long."
Al was a little worried at the way Ed was acting, but he was right. Someone had to stay with Hawkeye.
"Okay then." Al sat back down.
"I probably won't make it back here until tomorrow. If the Col. comes back, and he's done what he's supposed to do, let Hawkeye go. If not, then put him and any others he comes with into the cage with Hawkeye."
Al nodded as Ed jumped from the bed, slid down a nearby telephone cord, and ran towards the front door. Al opened his book and continued reading.
Meanwhile...
Roy was pacing up and down the length of the current car he was in, unable to sit.
"I wouldn't worry so much." Fury said, sitting at one end of the car.
"Yeah, Ed and Al are just worried about what the Army'll do to them. As soon as we leave them alone, they won't cause us any more trouble." Havoc said.
"Unless what they say is true." Roy said. "And the Fuhrer really is a Homunculus."
"Do you think that's true?" Fury asked.
"It seems pretty far-fetched if you ask me." Breda said.
"But still, it is possible." Falman replied.
"Either way, before we do anything else, we have to save Hawkeye." Roy said. He looked out the window and saw they were probably about an hour away from Central.
