Not what they wanted Anime Vore, GTS, GT, Shrinking, Unbirth chapter 54 by copier · original author: fearboy

The two women looked at what was in the treasure chest with the same expression. Both females had looks of astonishment and frustration.
“A BOOK! WE COME ALL THIS WAY FOR A BOOK!” Merill screeches as she grabs the only thing inside the chest. Genie was also disappointed, but she just shrugged off the worthless find. She went on adventures for the thrill of the fight, the joy of beating a worthy opponent and getting much honor from their defeat. She could spend the rest of life without a gold piece in her possession and she’d still be happy, as long as she could fight. Merill on the other hand was much less liberal and only did anything if their was a pay out at the end.
“This as been a complete waste of our time, why the hell would anyone go to so much trouble to hid a single measly book?” Merill said disheartened over not having a single gold coin to her name. Some how she had to find a way to blame Louie for her bad luck.
“Maybe the books valuable?” Genie pointed out to her sad companion.
“Huh?” Merill raised her head with a little bit of hope. she didn’t understand what Genie was talking about, but she mentioned the word valuable so it had to be important.
“What I mean is, this book was guarded by golem and those rock bastards are not cheap to go by these days. Who ever left this book behind, ether was very protective of their book of the month or the book is worth something.” Needing no more convincing, Merill's frown was replaced by a big toothy grin. She had no idea about the price of rare books on the market, but she would be happy if it was enough for a night at the tavern, minus Louie.
“But how will we know if it’s valuable?” Merill asked curious over how to decipher the value of the treasure.
“Open it up?” Genie shrugged. Careful, so as no to damage the book, Merill cracked it open to the first page.

Entry 1

Having found the Hunger Goddess Eatana’s alter, my associates and uncovered nothing but a single golden statue. This came as a huge disappointment because we essentially though that the shrine would be filled with hundreds of treasures for this Goddess. To cut our losses, we took the only treasure and ignored the warning on the temple walls, that say ‘she who touches this treasure must be of pure mind and hart or the hunger will destroy all, if she who holds it has the pure heart and soul of a saint, then no harm will come to her or her loved meals’. We ignored the confusing warning and left with the statue. We shared a laugh about protecting a ‘loved meal’; my apprentice and I joked about it as we left, while my female assistant carried the statue back to camp.

“It’s a diary,” Merill stated as she looked up from the first page. At that instant, a loud crashing sound echoed from beneath the travels. They looked sharply towards the sound, trying to decide if it was worth investigating.
