The golden statue was that of a nude woman. It wasn't very detailed, but it did look valuable. Of course, that meant nothing to Melissa as she heard the statue's singing. The voice was light and clearly female.
"True Fulfilment await you when you touch me"
Melissa grabbed the statue first, and a surge of power went through Melissa's body. It didn't hurt. Melissa felt a tingling feeling around her jaw, her rear end and her crotch. The tingling only lasted a few seconds.
"Could this be the magic item..?" asked Melissa looking more closely at the statue. The eyes of the statue were made out of two tiny pieces of Onix. Melissa thought she saw a faint red glow within the Onix pieces.
"It might be" said Louie. "I heard some magic items can be practically anything"
The room with the statue in it seemed to have no doors leading in or out, save for the hole in the ceiling made by Louie's fall.
"Doesn't this room have any exits?" asked Melissa.
Louie was on the case. He was muttering a spell under his breath, and had his wand out. All the while, Melissa's stomach gave a loud growl. The four companions hadn't eaten anything since they left Ohfun...and that was about 4 hours ago. But..the strange thing was, Melissa didn't want to eat food. She wanted to eat Louie. But she couldn't eat her own champion! That would anger the God of War, Mylee. The statue's voice echoed through her head: "Seeker of True Fulfillment, the magician will not die if you eat him"
"Aha!" said Louie. "knew there had to be a way out of here"
Louie was standing next to a bare wall, which opened a minute later. A long hallway with lighted torches in it was visible now.
Genie and Merill didn't hear the falling of Louie. They were on the third floor by the time that Louie fell through the floor.
Genie and Merill found themsleves in a large circle room. Lighted torches lit up the room, which had a treasure chest in the middle of it. Merill's eyes lit up and rushed towards the chest.
Suddenly, the floor of the room seemed to grow from the floor itself and formed a 7 foot tall golem. The golem was made out of clay, and looked like the golem that Louie made some time ago. However, this golem didn't have that dumb face that was on Louie's golem. Genie rushed forward, ready to battle the golem.
"If you want the chest" said the golem in a booming male voice. "you need to answer a riddle"
"Blast!" said Merill. "I'm not good at riddles"
"What's the riddle?" asked Genie.
This is what the golem said:
Name the creature that walks on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three at night.
Genie thought about it for only a minute.
"Man" said Genie.
The golem nodded and disappeared into the floor.
When the golem disappeared, Merill went straight for the chest. It was locked. But it was no problem for the female thief to unlock it. She opened the chest. Inside the chest, there was...
