"<Does my brother know that you are a goddess?>" asked the voice of Naota in Haruko's head. Haruko only smiled and didn't answer the question. Instead she pulled out a blunt from her pocket along with a lighter and lit up the blunt after several attempts. Haruko took a long pull and blew out smoke directed at the hypnotized Mamimi. Mamimi did nothing in response and kept massaging the big pregnant belly of Haruko.
Haruko took another long pull from the blunt and blew out a large smoke ring directed at Amarao. Amarao waved a hand lazily to dispel the smoke ring. He paused as he smelled the smoke. He then glared at Haruko.
"Really?" asked Amarao. "You smoke that in front of a government agent?"
"A government agency not responsible for enforcing drug use" said Haruko waving a hand dismissively. "What does your agency do again?"
Amarao sighed. " Well, don't blow it over here. I don't need a contact high"
Haruko blew out smoke as she chuckled. She then glanced down at the stage far below as a band was just finishing up a song. It seemed that open mic night was still going on. The song that had just ended was a cover of "Paint it black" and it was a pretty decent one. As Haruko kept watching she noticed that Washu came walking up to the band to exchange a few words. Haruko's brow narrowed as she wondered what was being said.
"Hey!" yelled a voice. "Where's our food?! We ordered like ten minutes ago"
Haruko turned to face the source of the shout. It had came from the booth directly across the aisle. The person who had shouted was one of the people that had those weird machinery at their hips and wore military uniforms. It was a blond-haired woman that had shouted.
"Easy, Annie" said the young man sitting next to Annie. "I'm surprised that you complain about food not showing up. That's usually Sascha's job"
"Hey!" yelled a girl at the far end of the booth, presumably Sascha.
"I skipped lunch, Armin" said Annie. "I'm so hungry I can eat just about anything"
Armin muttered something under his breath that Haruko couldn't hear but Annie apparently did because she whacked Armin with a slap to his arm.
Haruko shook her head and returned her attention back to the stage. Washu and the band were still having their conversation.
"So you joined a group" said Amarao. "That doesn't sound like you. I always took you for a loner"
"I don't tend to keep company with boring people like you, sonny boy" said Haruko.
Amarao hesitated before speaking. "I'm not that boring an I?"
Before Haruko could come up with a witty retort, all of the lights in the dining area dimmed by several degrees.
"Ladies and gentlemen" came the voice of Washu over the loudspeakers throughout the area. "If you noticed all of the waiters have stopped serving food. Don't be alarmed for nothing is wrong. It's just that it's one in the morning and I've arranged a special occasion"
Haruko raised an eyebrow and exchanged a look with Amarao.
"This special occasion takes an aspect you all share since entering this establishment" said Washu. " As you are probably aware you felt a tingling sensation when you entered this cafe. Well that tingling was the result of your bodies being changed so that you can swallow pretty much anything "
A murmur ran throughout the dining room. Some people showed great surprise at this news while others clearly knew of the news.
Washu cleared her throat. "And I thought that we might enjoy something really fun. I call it The Vore Hour. For one hour you all get to hunt and eat each other.....and EVERYONE is on the menu including the waiting staff. Anyone not wanting to partake in the Vore Hour should leave now"
Haruko noticed that perhaps three dozen people throughout the dining room climbed to their feet and left. Amarao wasn't one of them because he was clearly in shock to have heard this news. Haruko gained a manic grin. She also noticed that people were starting to lunge at each other. Washu herself was lunged at by members of the band.
"Errm...I guess let the feast begin!" said Washu still holding the microphone as she nimbly dodged.
Haruko jumped at Amarao before the man had the chance to react. She shoved his head into her mouth and swallowed Amarao rather quickly. In her haste Haruko had allowed Mamimi to exit the trance she was in.
"What....?" asked Mamimi faintly as she looked around at what was happening all around her. It was total anarchy. People were chasing each other and eating each other.
Mamimi didn't have time to wonder what was going on as she was grabbed by Haruko. Haruko opened her mouth wide but before she could eat Mamimi she was tackled from behind by Armin.
" Ack! " grunted Haruko as she was tackled to the ground. Mamimi took the opportunity and ran away not looking back. As Mamimi ran she heard an eerie bowl from behind her.
Mamimi glanced behind to see that a giant had suddenly appeared. It was like looking at an anatomy book with the muscles shown. The giant was clearly a female as it had breasts but no nipples.....nor other private parts.
Meanwhile Haruko was struggling with Armin on the floor.
"Get off me!" yelled Haruko as she glanced at the sudden appearance of a giant which was in the process of swallowing down a person with a military uniform.
"Over here Annie!" yelled Armin. Haruko had just broken free of the grip of Armin just in time to be plucked up by the giant. The giantess lifted Haruko up to her face.
"You're a big one aren't ya?" asked Haruko in a calm voice. The giantess simply opened her mouth and tossed Haruko in. In one smooth motion Haruko had her bass guitar in her hand. Before Haruko could enter the mouth of Annie she swung the guitar at the giant.
The guitar made contact with Annie on the cheek. A loud twang came from the guitar as it hit. Annie was sent flying through the air and landed squarely on the stage below. A great rumble shook the place as Annie made impact with the stage. It looked as if nobody was on the stage before Annie landed on it. Annie got unsteadily to her feet. She looked to be dazed for a moment before shaking it off.
Haruko landed on the floor right beside Armin.
"Whoa" was all that Armin said before Haruko shoved the young man's head into her mouth. In a matter of minutes Armin was gulped down. Haruko would've taken her time to savor the flavor to her meal but she was in a hurry: she might've gotten jumped by someone else while she was devouring Armin.
"Yeah this is more like it" said Haruko patting her absolutely huge stomach.
