You feel your mother’s raunchy hot breath blow across you, sending shivers down your spine. Of all the stupid reasons to be eaten, slipping into a mount of eggs would have to be the most ridiculous. You prepare for the drop onto your moms pallet, when you hear an unlikely angle come to your rescue.
“Mom, I think Steve is in your eggs.” Your decent is stopped and the fork is pulled away from the steamy, salivating cave that you were about to fall into. The fork turns sideways and you and the eggs go tumbling down back onto your mother’s plate. You welcome the feel of the cold porcelain ground under you as you land.
“You were right, he was in my food,” your mothers says a little amazed at finding her small son in such an odd place. You look up at her and see her mouth still slightly agape. You shudder and realize how close you were to being inside there with the rest of the breakfast. Beside you mom, Tracy looks down at you with worry and a tad bit of displeasure.
“Steve, you really need to stop getting into these predicaments. You could of ended up swallowed and have to spend the whole day inside mom’s body.” You shrink under your sisters scolding. You hate to be treated like such a baby, but when you nearly get eaten, it really hits home that you need someone to look after you.
“Maybe he wants to spend some time inside me,” your mom suggest in her normal bubbly voice. You and your sister share a look of frustration at you mom, who completely misses it. Her playful attitude grates on both your nerves, but you can’t say anything because although she’s immature and at times inattentive, she’s still your mom and you need to love and respect her; at least until your eighteen.
“Anyway,” your sister continues, giving your mom one last displeased look. “ You need to try and avoid getting into trouble like this. What if mom didn’t feel you inside her and you ended up getting flushed down a public toilet? You need to think before you act. Now, I think you should say thank you Tulip for warning mom that you were inside her breakfast.” Your freeze there and look at your savior, who is sitting quietly across the table at you, giving you a toothy smile. It’s hard for you to believe that the girl that has made your life a living hell saved you. The more you try to wrap your brain around it, the more confusing it all seems. Tulip doesn’t save you, she puts you in danger. What could that brat possibly be doing?
“What’s with the silence Steve? Don’t tell me you wanted to be inside me?” Hearing the hopeful tenor in your mom’s voice, you start talking.
“Thanks Tulip. You really got my fat out of the fire,” you say, trying to sound unsuspicious of her actions. Tulip only nodes and continues to smile. You got a bad feeling about her today; like she’s up to something and its way more advanced then her normal line of attack. Whatever she’s up to, you’ll need to keep one eye on her at all times.
