Fortunately for you, today is a school day, so you don't have to worry about her. You grab your makeshift backpack and tell them that you are ready to go. Tracy picks you up, and the three of you leave for school. Tracy drives you and Tulip to school and drops you off in your class. She doesn’t have to go to school, because she is 19. The school you and Tulip go to is one of those larger schools, the kind that keeps all of the kids in the same school from K-12.
Tulip skips off to her class in the other end of the school and leaves you alone with Tracy. Tracy explains that she is going to be late picking you up today, so you should wait in the library for her. She tells you Tulip is going to ride the bus home, so you should just have someone take you there and then you wait. She takes you in the class and puts you in the floor by your tiny desk that was specially made for you. Tracy then leaves, and you take your seat.
So you start your day off with a boring History class. You listen to the short and stout Mr. Johnson for 60 minutes as he drones on about ancient Sumerian culture. You are about to fall asleep, and he doesn’t stop talking, until he is interrupted by the bell. He then dismisses the class, except for you and the person assigned to take you to your next class.
The person assigned today is a large boy. He is in a few of your classes, and he plays for the football team. The boy comes over and picks you up in his large hand, and he walks out of the room. He starts down the hallway, and he tells you that he hates it when he has to carry you around. He thinks that you should have to walk like everyone else, and he is tired of you getting special treatment.
So does he take you to class or does he go somewhere else?
