Not all of the space junk was useless. According to the scans that Mihoshi did, bits of the space junk was in perfect working order. There was the warp core of the pirate ship that didn't look to be damaged in any way. As Mihoshi kept scanning the space junk, she got an odd reading on her scanner. The strange reading was gone as soon as it appeared. Must've been a glitch or something. The strange reading came from a large power cell. The power cell in question was out-of-date by a good 20 years. Mihoshi then piled the space junk onto an anti-grav lift, and carried the space junk to the hold. The space junk would most likely end up in Washu's lab, for Washu needed several things for her new experiment. Mihoshi was trying to keep from crying as she entered the hold of the Yagami and stored the space junk in one of the corners. The hold of the Yagami had once held the entire Masaki house during that trouble from Jurai almost two years ago now. Mihoshi broke down and cried. Kiyone was just so mean to her that it wasn't fair.

The Torn had almost gave itself away. It only had a faction of a second to correct this and not to be found out. It had inhabited a power cell because it was the only thing big enough to contain it. It then sent a question to its creator, asking him if it could possess the female that had saved it from space. Again, there was no answer. The Torn then made up its own simple mind. It jumped from the power cell and into the gasping mouth of the female...who was crying.

Mihoshi didn't feel anything entering her mouth...nor did she feel any different. She didn't even feel something settling in her stomach. For the next 3 minutes, the weeping Galaxy Police officer didn't feel a thing wrong with her...besides the fact that she was sad. Then, it hit her like a ton of bricks. Mihoshi felt a tingling sensation growing in her stomach, and then....

"Well, Mihoshi" said Kiyone's voice over the intercom. "did you find anything useful in all that space junk?"

Mihoshi didn't answer. Mihoshi was in no fit state to answer.

The day hadn't gone Kiyone's way from the moment she woke up that morning. She spent a good 10 minutes trying to wake her sleeping partner so they could both go to thier Earth job. Once they arrived at work, Kiyone had to spend a good half hour trying to explain why she was late for work again. And Mihoshi kept messing up on the job, which made the boss mad. And they were late for thier daily partrol of the Sol system because Mihoshi had insisted going to the kakaroke bar. Plus, Mihoshi had blasted away that pirate ship without thinking about it. Kiyone had shouted at her airhead partner for at least an hour before she told Mihoshi to reel in the space junk. Thankfully, the partrol was almost over.

"Mihoshi, did you hear me?" asked Kiyone through the intercom.
Still no reponse.
Kiyone prayed to every god and goddess she could think of for patience, You needed a LOT of patience with Mihoshi.
Kiyone sighed and decided to go to the hold to check up on her partner.
When she entered the hold, Kiyone saw that...
