The Torn moved through space, growing closer to the glowing blue and green plant ahead of it. Within it’s energy constructed body resided a mind, a simple mind, but one capable of thought. The mission was clear to it and nothing would stop it from finding the Juriniain artifact. It knew no emotions except the desire to complete it’s creators plans. It would accomplish it’s mission and destroy all that hindered it’s task.

It was relentless.

It was driven.

It was unstoppable.

It was being sucked into a space ship by a tractor beam along with a pile of space junk.

All attempts to break from the tractor beam failed. It needed to take control of an object or person to access any of it’s power. In it’s energy form, it could do little else, but move along slowly. It sent out a message to its creator telling him of the predicament, but no immediate response was given and why should one? The creator believed that it would have a clear path to earth; interference was never part of his calculations. Quickly, it attached itself to a piece of space junk being pulled into the ship. The least it could do was hide from his captors; if they didn’t see it then perhaps escape was an option.

Hiding itself completely in a piece of scrap, it waited and watched, ready to move on it’s own at a moments notice of its creator contacted it. The tractor beam continued pulling it in, taking it inside to a storage room in the back and dumping it on the floor. Forming a heap on the cold steel floor with the other junk inside the back of the ship, the Torn awaited whatever was to come next. The wait wasn’t very long, for minutes after being pulled into the ship, a door to the storage room opened and someone walked in. The Torn’s scanned the life form learning as much as it could about it in as quick a time as possible.

Species: Seniwan
Gender: Female
Age: 26

None of that told the Torn much, so it began to scan her body fully, running her image in with it’s identification system. It needed to know if she was a pirate or just some unlucky scavenger that had picked him up. When the scan was complete, several emergency protocols were activated. It’s captor had been identified as Mihoshi Kuramitsu, a member of the Galaxy Police. Under protocol 2X-U it was to keep from making contact with any Galaxy Police officers unless under threat of immediate destruction, in which case, it would be forced to possess her. Knowing now who she was, the Torn listened for any indication of it’s reason for being in Galaxy Police custody.

“Kiyone is so mean. I destroy one pirate ship and now I have to clean up the mess,” Sniffed Mihoshi as she rummaged through the pile of space trash.

“Just get to it!” Screamed a female voice over the intercom. “It’s your own damn fault!”

Mihoshi nodded and continued gathering the junk up, whimpering every so often as she touched something burnt or gross. It all hadn’t been space trash, one it was parts of a small pirate vessel that had gotten too close to earth. The standard procedure was to intercept the ship, take the pirates into custody and tow the ship back to headquarters. Instead, Mihoshi had simply blown it up without thinking, leaving bits of alien technology drifting through space around earth. Leaving the trash drifting through space was a big no-no. If even one piece crashed to earth and survived, the people of that small planet would have alien technology and the Galaxy Police would have egg on their faces. So, Mihoshi was playing trashwoman. She gathered up all the bits and pieces and got them ready for transport to…
