Log entry 1021. Date 09192007
Months of preparation have preluded this day. My creation, the Torn, is finally ready to sieze the Jurinian object which is so rightly mine.
I first happened upon this planet, called "Earth" by the locals in the middle of a routine telescopic view from my laboratory. It had all the makings of a subculture world, a native species which had terraformed the planet yet not made contact outside of it, vast amounts of life, and technological primitiveness. Yet I soon found something...a power of incredible amounts...a relic of Jurinian origin. If I were to seize it and study it, I would be able to unlock a power no other has studied, a power that would propel I, Saizo Primaron, to untold power and status among the cosmos!
Then IT arrived.
My planet devourer, a planetoid which I had perfected to eat other planetary bodies, was going to devour the 'Earth', take the Jurinian artifact, and allow me to sell the free space to the highest bidder to make a new space lane. But instead, something took my device. Something not of this galaxy.
It called itself the Chaos Bringer and said it needed my planet devourer to take revenge on another cosmic being. Rather than give me the details, it overrode nearly nine months of programming, modified my machine with odd markings and most oddly, a pair of horns protruding from it, then fled into the distant cosmos. No record has been heard since.
However, I did not mope. I did not wallow in defeat, I used the experience to create a new destroyer, not of matter, but energy. Like this cosmic being, this energy creature can possess any creature or object and make it its own body. And to destroy this worthless world, it can feed on energy leaving the entire planet a blank empty slate.
My first test was a brilliant success. The prototype Torn took possession of a vermenoid seamelssly, with no difference visible to the naked eye. And the shock of electricity, normally fatal to this creature, caused it to quadruple in size! When the Torn left, the vermenoid shrank to its normal scale and the same shock killed it.
With the devices I have, I can view all of the Torn's actions from my laboratory. It will journey to Earth, take possession of a local, seize the power from Jurai, and return to me, and if so necessary, leave the planet a barren wasteland to obtain it. I look forward to logging my brilliant success, and my future plans as ruler of this universe, the man who took the reins of destiny from those that would deem themselves gods and give them back to science and reason.

"Ah, you are ready. Begin your journey, for it will be long even at the speed of light. I estimate a wait of at least two days..."
