Edward finished drawing the transmutation circle on the road. It hadn't been that hard to find a bit of chalk to write with. The piece of chalk was a hunk of rock the size of a bowling ball. Clapping would've been much faster but Edward had no other hand or leg. Finished with his task, Edward removed the light purple bathrobe he had gotten from the Dimensional Cafe awkwardly. He threw the bathrobe in the middle of the circle and placed his remaining hand at the edge of the circle. Edward closed his eyes and....nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. Edward looked in confusion as nothing continued to happen. Edward tried to use alchemy again and nothing happened again.
"What the hell?" asked Edward. "I have enough material to create new clothes"
Lust was sitting at a bus stop bench a few feet away. She was unashamedly looking right at Edward's naked rear. She had a smirk on her face as she watched Edward once again try to do alchemy. Yet again nothing happened.
"Perhaps this is a dimension where alchemy doesn't work?" suggested Lust.
"Well, why not?" asked Edward who grunted in frustration.
Lust shrugged. "Different dimension, different laws of psychics maybe? It's okay, I'll just watch you crawl around naked. It'll amuse me greatly"
"I'm sure it would" said Edward darkly as he grabbed the bathrobe and put it on. Edward motioned for Lust to help him stand up.
"Does little Edward need help getting dressed?" asked Lust in a mocking baby voice as she rose to her feet. Edward reaction was predictable.
"Don't call me little!" roared Edward.
Lust grabbed Edward and got him to a standing position. There she kissed him on the lips. Edward protested at first but gave in into the kiss which turned passionate. Lust opened her mouth when a shadow flew over the pair.
Lust and Edward looked up sharply to see that a dragon had flown over them. The dragon had paused in its flight as it looked down at the pair from near 100 feet. The dragon lowered into a landing and ended up five or six feet away from the pair.
The dragon was humanoid in shape that was twenty foot tall. The dragon had a human face with red flowing hair and was wearing tattered clothing. Gun holsters were visible wrapped around the dragon's wrist which was comicly small. Two guns were in the holsters. The dragon also had a hunk of meat in one of her hands that looked to be a leg of a stag or some such creature of that size.
"I'm assuming you two aren't from here" said the dragon in a feminine voice, taking a big bite out of the stag's leg. The dragon had bitten down on a thick bone which crumbled as the dragon chewed at the meat. The dragon pulled her head up sharply, ripping at the meat and pulling a long section of flesh away from the rest of the leg. Blood flowed out of the leg. It looked to be fresh blood as if the dragon had pulled the leg from a still-living stag. The dragon slurped up the long section of flesh and lifted the leg over her head. The dragon eagerly drank at the blood that flowed from the leg like water from a waterfall. The sight was slightly nauseating.
"No we aren't from here" said Edward after a short pause. "I'm guessing you aren't from here either?"
The dragon seemed to relish the taste of the blood before answering. "Nope. I'm from the Dimensional Cafe. Don't know what happened precisely"
"At a guess, you weren't always a dragon?" asked Lust.
"I was knocked into a vat of chemicals that turned me into this" said the dragon.
The dragon had bluish scales and the muscles were bigger than Edward's whole body.
"Call me Revy" said the dragon as she took another bite from the leg. Again blood flowed from the wound which the dragon drank with apparent relish directly from the leg.
"I know a homunculus that has the same table manners as you do" said Lust in mild digust. "She has the same appetite as well"
"The fuck is a homunculus?" asked Revy.
"It's a bit complicated to explain" said Edward.
Revy shrugged, and said, "Ever since turning into a dragon I like my meat raw and bleeding. Wasn't always the case back when I was human"
"You gained this...um, monstrous appetite?" asked Edward.
Revy laughed hard at that. "I've always been a fucking monster, kid. Now it's unchained and more oblivious"
Edward and Lust exchanged looks.
"We happen to find this....tablet thing that detected human life outside of this city" said Edward holding up the tablet.
Revy eyed the tablet. "That's good news"
"Yeah" said Edward. "could you help us getting there?"
Revy made a pleasing sound somewhere deep in her belly. She looked at the leg in her hand and threw it away. "Depends on how much money you have. I don't do anything for free"
"We don't have much" replied Lust pulling out some coins from her cleavage. Edward quickly estimated that it was close to 600 cens.
Revy examined the coins closely for a moment. "I suppose this is enough".
Revy grabbed both Edward and Lust in each hand and shot up into the air.

Riza took a sniff and found her prey downwind. Excellent. The wind was with her. Riza took several long strides, making up significant ground despite her girth. The prey wasn't in sight but she could smell it. It smelt just like a deer. Riza's stomach growled in preparation. She was drooling at the thought of biting into the deer and tasting gore and treasure.
The prey was in sight now. It was a large buck. It was eating at the grass underneath it. Riza slowed both her breathing and pace. As Riza got closer she caught a whiff of another hunter nearby. She looked aside to see a large bear creeping up to the deer. It was clear that the bear hadn't caught her scent yet.
Riza stopped to hide behind a tree, allowing the bear to advance more towards the deer. If Riza played this right, she would get two meals instead of one.
A handful of minutes later, the bear had succeeded in killing the deer after a brief chase. Riza had kept pace with the chase, careful not to alert the bear to her presence. The bear started to bite at the deer's gut, biting at the soft flesh there. Riza slowly stepped closer. Riza hadn't been paying attention to where she was stepping. As luck would have it, Riza stepped on a twig. It was a tiny sound but in the silence it might as well been a cannon going off.
The bear looked sharply up and spotted Riza. It opened its mouth and roared.
Riza hesitated for only a moment and then rushed at the bear with shocking speed despite her size and weight. She rammed the bear with the force of a small tank. The bear wasn't fazed much but it was clearly surprised to see something was attacking it. With fast movements, Riza had wrapped her arms around the bear's neck and started to strangle it with superhuman strength. The bear fought tooth and nail, struggling in the firm grip of Riza. The bear did score several vicious strikes again and again across her middle, attempting to throw her off. Riza's body instantly healed itself as Riza tightened her grip around the neck. The bear started to weaken but still fought with all of its considerable might. It wasn't exactly easy, even for Riza's superhuman strength. The bear fought for another ten minutes when it went still. Riza held onto the bear until she was sure that the bear was indeed dead. Then she loosened her grip around the bear's neck.
Riza turned the bear over and opened her jaws and took a huge bite out of the bear's gut. The skin of the bear simply melted away.
Riza patted her much bigger gut some fifteen minutes later. All traces of the bear and deer were gone. She was leaning on a tree, sitting on the ground.
"That was really something to see" said a voice. Riza looked around to see Edward and Lust were there, along with a humanoid dragon that stood at twenty feet tall. It had been the dragon that had spoken.
