Cabin in the forest

Riza was awoken by a deafening crack of thunder. She sat bold upright to see that she was now in a forest. It wasn't the same forest she had been in earlier. For a couple of minutes, Riza looked around. It took several moments for her memory to come back.
There had been a series of explosions before some kind of a red wall of energy swept through the room that she had been in with Lust and Edward. After that there was a massive explosion and Riza felt something grab a hold of her and dragged her out of the room somehow.
Riza was all alone as far as she could tell. It was raining rather heavily and the winds were gusting so much so that the top of nearby trees were bent sideways. It was clearly a severe thunderstorm. After a few minutes of just sitting there in the unfamiliar forest, Riza climbed to her feet.
"What the hell happened?" asked Riza to herself.
There was, of course, no answer. Riza tried to smell but all that she smelled was rain. With no indication in what direction she should go, Riza simply picked a random direction and started to walk. She needed to find some kind of shelter from the storm.
It was probably late afternoon or earlier. Riza couldn't tell. It was warm but not hot.
As Riza walked on, the ground started to steadily lower as if she was going down into a valley. Again she tried to smell if anything was near her that could help her but she smelled nothing due to the wind. The storm was getting weaker slightly despite the frequent lightning. It continued to rain heavily as Riza crossed over a small bridge over a small creek.
"Well, it's a sign of civilization anyway" muttered Riza once she had gotten over the bridge. Beyond the bridge, the thick forest started to thin out.
"I wonder what happened to Ed and Winry" said Riza as she paused as she thought she heard something off in the distance. What she heard she couldn't have said. Whatever it was, it hadn't been thunder.
Riza continued to walk for at least two miles until she spotted what looked to be a log cabin by itself. Coming to a quick decision, Riza headed for the cabin.
The cabin had two stories and looked plain enough. Riza came right to the door and knocked loudly. There was no answer. Riza knocked again slightly louder this time. Again there was no answer. Riza tried to open the door. It was locked and solidly too. The door didn't even rattle in its frame.
"Sorry for this" muttered Riza as she rammed her full weight at the door. It took three times for her to open the door.
The door opened to a furnished room. Judging from the decor of the room, the cabin probably belonged to a hunter. There was the stuffed head of a moose hanging above a large fireplace. On the mantle of the fireplace was a series of small pictures in small frames. Nearly all of the pictures depicted a red-haired man in hunter garb.
Riza walked over to the fireplace to see there was no firewood in evidence. She shrugged and started to remove her wet clothes.
"Is anyone here?" asked Riza in a loud voice.
No response. Riza sighed and sat down on a couch in front of the fireplace and mulled over her options. There was nothing to do but wait for the storm to end.
The log cabin consisted of three rooms on the bottom floor and two rooms on the second floor. There was no food whatsoever in the cabin. There wasn't even a radio in evidence.
Riza looked over the cabin for anything useful. In the upstairs bedroom, Riza found a small map of the area. The location of the cabin was circled in red. There was no town or city listed on the map.
"I don't think I'm in Amestris" muttered Riza as she looked over the map. "but where am I and how did I got here?"
Riza continued to look over the upstairs of the cabin when she caught a scent of someone else in the cabin. Someone had entered the cabin. She walked downstairs to see a rather busty woman in skimpy attire with tanned skin looking around.
"Pardon me" said the tanned woman when she noticed Riza was climbing down the stairs. "is this your cabin? I was only looking for shelter from the storm"
"No, I don't live here" said Riza. "I don't know where I am"
The tanned woman grimaced and asked, "Were you a patron of the Dimensional Cafe by chance?"
Riza nodded. "You mean you were there as well? Do you know how we got here?"
The tanned woman shook her head. "I don't know but I guess it was some kind of magic or technology. I'm leaning on technology based on what I saw before the cafe was destroyed"
"What do you mean before it was destroyed?!" asked Riza.
"There was some kind of fight" said the tanned woman. "some enemy used this mythical Eye that shot out a ray that caused a massive explosion. That's the last thing I remember"
"And now we're here" said Riza. "wherever here is"
"It's a safe bet we're in another dimension" said the tanned woman. "we should get to know each other while we figure out where we are"
"I'm Riza Hawkeye" said Riza.
"And I'm Mii" said the tanned woman. "I happen to be a fertility goddess"
Riza blinked and said in a flat voice, "I happen to be a homunculus"
"A homunculus?" asked Mii.
"It's a long story" said Riza. "say, you wouldn't happen to see two young people on your way here?"
Mii shook her head and said, "I haven't seen anyone else since I got here"
"We're alone..." said Riza in a quiet voice.
"Might as well make ourselves at home" said Mii, looking around at the room.
