Riza had the nose of a bloodhound. She could easily identify people, objects and animals. Not only that but Riza could tell which race a person belonged to. She could also smell less than pleasant smells as well.
As Riza approached the office of King Bradley she caught whiff of an easterner. She hesitated before entering the office.
The office had only two people in it; Bradley and someone with an Ouroborus tattoo on the back of his hand. The second man glanced at Riza as she entered the room. Bradley seemed preoccupied by paperwork much like Mustang had been.
"Ah, this must be the new Gluttony" said the Eastern man. " We certainly are getting new faces around here "
Bradley looked up at Riza. "They couldn't find a uniform big enough for you?"
"No" said Riza. "They were on backorder as I understood it"
"I'm Greed" said the man from the east. "The new Greed I should say"
"Aren't you from Xing?" asked Riza.
"This body is" corrected Greed. "He's a prince that actually wanted to be one of us. Thought he could be emperor or something. Ling is proving to be......interesting, if nothing else"
"Naive boy" said Bradley dismissively. Bradley then looked at Riza. "Wasn't Envy with you?"
"He ditched me" said Riza. "Said something about not being a damn babysitter"
Greed laughed. "Well that certainly sounds like Envy alright"
"Indeed...." said Bradley as he stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Why don't you make us tea, Gluttony?"
Riza said nothing but went over to the table and prepared tea.
"I see that you have some of your humanity left" said Bradley, his voice indifferent.
Riza thought about denying it but she didn't see the point. "Is that a problem?"
"As long as you don't interfere with our plans and betray us" said Bradley. His eye shifted to Greed momentarily and then returned to the lieutenant.
"I wouldn't dream of it" said Riza.
"Good" said Bradley.
"I heard the Elrics were spotted up north" said Greed. "Isn't that our next target?"
Bradley nodded. "General Raven is heading up there next week to....prepare"
Riza continued to prepare the tea in silence.
Envy was caught completely off-guard when he was grabbed from behind by what looked like tendrils of the surrounding stomach. The tendrils wrapped around his arms and legs and started to drag him towards the nearest pool of acid.
"What the--?!" yelled Envy as he sliced apart the tendrils with transformed limbs.
" Food.... "
Envy turned to see an exact copy of Gluttony rising up from the floor of the stomach. Another copy of Gluttony rose next to the other copy.....and then, ten more copies rose.
"What is this?" asked Envy.
"Revolution" said one of the clones as it lunged at Envy. Envy dodged easily but wasn't able to dodge the twenty or so clones that tackled him from behind. The clones started to drag Envy to the acid pool.
"Enough!" yelled Envy as he managed to wrestle his way away from the clones. "I'm not food you nitwit!"
"Then you're recyclable" said a clone that rose up from behind Envy and shot out an arm that sunk into Envy's flesh. The arm of the clone went up to the elbow in Envy.
"What are you doing?!" yelled Envy.
In the next minute Envy felt a sucking sensation within his body.
"You trying to steal my Philosopher's Stone?" demanded Envy as he managed to slice off the invading arm and stepping back a dozen or so steps back.
" This is the will of Riza Hawkeye " said the clones all in one voice.
"What's happening here?" asked Envy. "There's no way you can be this strong"
"Don't underestamite the human spirit"
" Human spirit?! " spat out Envy. "That's utterly ridiculous. All of you are worms!"
The clones were closing in from all sides. Envy looked wildly around for an escape route. Then, all of a sudden, all of the clones stopped what they were doing and melted away back into the floor and wall of the stomach. Envy stayed on guard for several long moments.
"What was that about?" asked Envy.
