"First off," Kakashi suddenly interrupted, "if you want anyone to help you, you should probably be a bit more polite. If you hadn't been yelling and screaming, I'm pretty sure the goddess wouldn't have tried to turn you into a stain."
"P...polite?" Naruto answered with disbelief. "You're worried about manners at a time like this?!"
"Well if you don't want any help..."
"OK fine!" he shouted loud enough for everyone in the area to hear. "I'm sorry, OK? I'm sorry that being nearly killed has gotten me so worked up? Now can we please fix this so that I won't be so pissed off?"
"That'll do, for now..." Kakashi replied, turning towards Jirayia and Kameko. The perverted sennin was the first to reply.
"We need to find a way to neutralize the chakra that the kybuki is giving off with another chakra stream. In order to do that, we'll need a few people with specific chakra strains.
"That's what I was trying to tell you," Kameko continued as she stood in front of the group, the hole in her armor closing most likely due to some form of magic. "I needed an Uchicha, and a few other people, and then I was going to like...blend their chakra together to cancel out the kybuki's chakra. Then people will stop trying to eat you and stuff."
Raising an eyebrow, Naruto asked, "and you didn't tell me this earlier why?"
"I was like, thinking, and then you yelled at me," she replied, sniffling a bit at the last part. This was all Naruto needed, the constant fear of death with a side order of guilt.
Luckily, before Naruto could put his foot in his mouth once again, Kakashi went up to the goddess and asked, "So who else do we need?"
