“I am sorry.” He said in tears, before he started running the other way, away from Diana. He couldn’t bring himself to talking to her at all, but only left a single statement to her, and hoping one day that she can accept his apology. Daniel ran as far from the park as possible, knowing that he caused her so much pain over the years that he couldn’t muster up the strength to confront her at all. Lying to her all those years about her condition, and how she grew made her snap and what not, it was a pain that he tried to keep strong to, but he cannot. His world was shattered. Demi is angry at him for letting this happen, and Diana basically disowned him and her, but it did lead to a suggestion.
Perhaps he may need to let her struggle a bit, even though she always comes through, but maybe he needs to give her some time alone. He knows that she is pissed, and confronting her for now will only make things worse for her, him, his wife, and anyone around them. It still broke his heart he is doing this, but maybe it is the only way to let her heal. “I know Diana didn’t want this, but perhaps if I gave her some time alone to calm down, maybe she might realize that we are still here.” He said in his mind.
Just as he continues to run, he ends up running into some people who was forming an angry mob. “There he is!!!!” The mob leader with the pitch fork said, noticing Daniel himself. “Rumor has it that he is the father of the giant freak.”
“Well stop here, no one is gonna harm my daughter in any way!” Daniel shouted in anger towards the mob. “Besides, I am the one caused this to her.”
“How?” They demanded.
What happens now?
