Rosa, the tiny activist
Rosa was an early victim of shrinking crime in a world where shrinking isn't criminalized: shrunk against her will by a drunk guy who wanted to enslave her. But, unlike so many other women who ended up slaves or bugs, she escaped. Now, she is bold and brash advocate for the rights of tiny women, albeit permanently a "tiny" herself. This gets her into a lot of trouble with giant men, though, and she still struggles with the submissive suggestion built into man-made shrinkers.

All of Rand's friends don't agree with his acceptance of tiny women, though, and disapprove of Rand's relationship with Farah -- and this unapproving pantheon makes this clear to Farah, in all sorts of cruel and humiliating ways.
