She contemplated her next move for several minutes before finally pushing the popcorn away; she felt like now it was up to her to do something. She rose to her feet and cautiously approached her seat, marvelling once again at the sole hanging over it. She then went around, passing her seat and the giant’s heel on the right, walking the armrest further back. And as she walked, the length of his legs and the rest of his body in the background opened to her. His face was very far away. He casually snacked on his own popcorn, happily watching the movie. For a moment, she entertained the thought that maybe all of this had been a misunderstanding stemming from her vulnerable state. But she kept walking until she was on the edge. There was barely any space for her to stand here: most of it was occupied by the man’s ankles and muscular calves. He was athletic. And very tall.
She looked to the side, giving his friends a quick look. Good looking, all of them. Studs. For some reason she couldn’t see Sophia, but that didn’t matter to her right now.
Taking a deep breath, Valerie waved to the man. He ignored her. Or didn’t notice.
She stood in place, feeling stupid. Val almost turned around when a thought finally struck her and, blushing heavily, she dropped to her knees where she stood. It felt right to lower herself in front of this young god.
And then - for the briefest of moments - she noticed his gaze shift. Shivers ran down her spine. She wondered how pathetic she must have looked.
His massive legs shifted as the one on top lifted and he pulled it back; his massive foot passed over her head before going down and resting now on the edge of the armrest, with the ball of the foot being approximately Val’s height above the edge. The toes partially obscured his face again.
Val, still on her knees, sheepishly moved forward, until the slick flesh was right in front of her. She looked at it. She thought of the godlike man this foot belonged to, thought of his beauty and stature, of the effortless way he invaded her little world today at the cinema.
