Possible trouble in the beach?
"I think calling him is a little extreme, but maybe he ran into someone" Lillian said, shrugging.
"He can take care of himself, let's just wait for now, I don't think he ditched us that easily"

"I wasn't saying he ditched us, but I still feel something's not right" Jen sighed

"I don't feel he's too far away, besides, who in their right mind would ditch 3 beauties like us?" Sheila said after she finished gobbling down her chili dog, then grabbing a can of Pepsi to wash it down with

"Well... this is awkward..." Jen said, shuffling her feet, her thought process had been cut off since she was looking forward to hanging out with you, and Lillian, albeit to a lesser extent. Without your presence, she felt like she stuck out like a sore thumb when around the Brazilian duo

"Eh, we can just chill for a bit, I mean, we just ate, I'm all for getting some rest & digest before we go do something... and hopefully by then he'll be back" Lillian said, patting Jen's shoulder and taking a seat on one of the remaining unoccupied beach chairs
"You should do that too, unless you don't want that hefty breakfast of yours not to go into your ass" She added with a cheekier look and a matching smile

"Why are you so sure that's how it works?" Jen raised an eyebrow

"It's how I've done it myself, and have you seen how big it is?" Lillian giggled and loudly smacked her own butt.
"My sister says that's how she got hers that big too" She added

"Huh, I dunno, it could be genetics" Jen replied, briefly glancing at Sheila, who didn't seem to notice she was alluded to

"It's one factor, but not the only one. Your curves have grown since you quit the volleyball team and began eating more" Lillian said in a very matter-of-factly tone. Nodding, Jen cupped one of her boobs with one hand and used the other one to try to cup one of her cheeks, both were a little of a futile effort, as they were too big for it, but that's exactly the point that had just been proved

'She is right about that... though still, it's not like my butt can compete with hers even like this...' Jen thought, squeezing her cheek a little 'But then again, I've got a big advantage up top' she quietly giggled, and even though she knew many girls were envious of her bust size, Lillian herself wasn't one of them, she was pretty confident with her own despite being much smaller, and even more since she claimed that you weren't even all that much into them, and that your true nature was that of an assman, though Jen had never gotten her to further elaborate

"I guess you do have a point" Jen laughed a little, to which Lillian smiled in approval and she proceeded to relax

Jen found this contrast curious, because there had been times were Lillian was the one who seemed to get more possessive of you and would be more concerned about your whereabouts, usually when the likes of Emily or Toxic Lily seemed to be up to no good, although one could argue that was pretty much always. Jen decided to take a seat, relax and ease her mind, since she was just getting paranoid, this was a nice day at the beach and it'd be silly to think you'd ditch something you personally looked forward to just as much as she did

'I just hope he didn't run into Veronica...' Jen thought, a few minutes later, and mentally slapped herself for starting to worry again

A while later...

Jen had slowly grown impatient over time despite chastising herself for it, and eventually got to a point where she couldn't take it anymore and got up. Lillian, who was close to drifting off into a pleasant nap was immediately snapped out of it by that. She quickly grabbed her phone and briefly glanced at it, checking the time. It had been a little over half an hour. She then looked over at her mom, who had already drifted off to sleep and couldn't help but feel a little envious

"Hmm... I know what you're gonna say, and yeah, it's been a while" Lillian sighed and scratched her head.
"I don't think he should be taking this long... unless he's secretly sick and didn't tell us"

"You say that like it's a thing that's happened before..." Jen crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow

"Hate to say it, but yeah... kind of... Blaise's the kind of guy that normally doesn't tell you something's wrong with him unless it's like impossible to hide, and even then he doesn't ask for help as much as he should" Lillian shook her head
"And he wasn't like that before"

"What do you mean?" Jen's concern grew, even after knowing you for roughly 5 years, there were things she still didn't know, and those weren't good ones

"Uh... I kinda promised not to talk about it, now that I remember..." Lillian said with rather obvious hesitation, but she looked anguished herself, which definitely began raising little alarms inside Jen's head. If Lillian was worried, it had to be something serious

"Lillian..." Jen narrowed her eyes "If it's something important I think I should know"

"I kind of agree... but Blaise didn't want me to tell anyone. Besides, what kind of best friend would I be if I revealed his secrets?" Lillian laughed somewhat nervously

"Lillian... you've been giving me tips on how to get Blaise to like me and I'm pretty sure most of that info was meant to be confidential..." She gave her a sterner look as she spoke. Lillian couldn't help but laugh a little at that remark, but still looked uncomfortable

"I mean... yeah but most of that was stuff I gathered or deducted on my own, he didn't explicitly tell me not to reveal any of that" Lillian replied

"Well, the cat's out of the bag at this point. If it's important enough that you worry, I think I should know, I'm his friend too after all"

"Then you should ask him abou- wait... no, if you ask him about it he'll know I blabbed" Lillian facepalmed. Jen smiled slightly and crossed her arms, without doing anything she had gotten Lillian to checkmate herself.
" *Sigh* Oh dammit... okay, you win. I will tell you, but this will be the only time I ever tell you something he didn't want me to, so if you ever wanted some real juicy intel, nuh-uh, I'm sorry, you'll have fired that last shot already..." She facepalmed
"And under any circumstances, you can NOT tell him you know, or that I told you... believe me, that kind of fallout would get us both" Lillian said

"Okay, I won't. Sounds like it's a big deal" Jen said, raising an eyebrow again, trying to deduce herself what it could possibly be, wondering if it wasn't some silly little thing you and Lillian were blowing out of proportion

"Well, here's the thing... let's say that Jordana and Toxic Lily aren't the only people that bully him" Lillian began explaining.

"I mean, we don't let Toxic Lily do that to him..." Jen glared at her
"Sadly, not even I can stop your sister though"

"Yeah, yeah I know... but that wasn't the point. The point is that there's someone else who also does" Lillian continued

"Who?!" Jen asked with such an intensely fierce glare in her eyes that even Lillian, who was often chill and unfazed by stuff, couldn't help but flinch

"It's Valentina" Lillian said, facepalming, though she just didn't want to see the fire in Jen's eyes at least for a moment

"What?! This is the first time I hear about this!" Jen growled, prompting Lillian to gesture at her to be quiet since her mom is asleep and nearby
"Please continue" Jen said, and it was very evident that she was barely holding back her explosive anger. The fact that there was someone hurting you and she hadn't been able to help you about it almost made her blood boil by itself

"Yeah, it's almost the same deal as Toxic Lily... except she's more subtle about it... Being honest, not even I knew until he told me, and I prided myself on being able to keep pretty good tabs on him"

"But what's the problem? He's held his own against Lily before" Jen said, still unsure why this was even a problem.

"She's better at ambushing than Lily. Plus, she covers her tracks well, not that many people know she's a bully, and those that do are very unwilling to talk about it" Lillian said "So, she doesn't have the reputation, and there are almost never witnesses"

"Well, that won't matter after I'm done with her" Jen said darkly as she began cracking her knuckles

"Jen, you don't understand" Lillian said "Don't you think I could've done that myself?"

"Well, I think I get the picture, school won't help because there's no proof. But I don't need any"

"But there's more"

"What?"

"Blaise's tried to solve this... not so violently, mind you... you know, Valentina is Dolores' niece, so I think you know where this is going" Lillian sighed again

"So the reason he won't do anything is because her aunt is his mom's friend?"

"Yes and no" Lillian continued "You see, he's tried making things right the only way he could that wouldn't backfire on him"

"Which is...?"

"Telling her mom about it"

"And that didn't work?!"

"Nope. Her mom won't have any of it. She's one of those moms, you know? She thinks her daughter is nothing but a sweet little angel, incapable of harming even a fly, that kind of thing... so, Blaise has no way out of this, other than avoiding her as much as he can... which, as you know, it's not so easy since she's one of our classmates" Jen could sense anger in Lillian's words, she was angry at being apparently powerless about this situation

"Well, I don't care, and I have no ties to her, so I can teach her a lesson and I'll take the consequences, whatever they might be" Jen now sounded even more determined to make things right, even if you and Lillian were completely unwilling to

"So... yeah, now, back to the original topic, I think this is why Blaise has become like this... not even I know for how long this has been going on, but it's gotten worse starting from 7th grade, and all he's said is that he needs to toughen up and be a man about it"

"That doesn't sound like him at all" Jen raised an eyebrow once more

"I know"
