QUICK EDIT NOTE 9/5/25: I fully redid and combined this chapter with another as my experiment fell through and I didn't like how messed up the flow was.
He softly plopped himself in his desk chair with a heavy sigh. His hands dug down into a drawer full of papers. Said papers covered in very simply half-finished sketches. Then with a contented grunt he slipped a black pencil case from the paper pile. While he could be doing this on the PC Infront of him, it just felt wrong to not physically write it down in... From the very bottom of stack with a great rustle he pulled out a ginger-colored journal with a small lock on it. It had been a gift from someone who was as contained by social boundaries as her booty was by pants! His mind faintly wondering back in time as he turned on his headphones and clicked random on his PC’s music playlists.
FLASHBACK: Storm Valley Unified Public School – Date: Unknown – Time: 1:00 PM PST
“I CANT DO IT!” Blaise flung his arms across the table top and sent art supplies flying. He pressed his head against the wood as warm tears formed in the corners of his eyes. The ground shook with familiar footfalls. Two hands gripped his shoulders as the imposing shadow of one Lourdes McAllen shaded him.
“It’s ok Blaise…” She began in her usual silky tone only to be cut off the sound of a slamming fist on the desktop.
“No its not! I can’t even doodle a simple stick figure!” Was Blaise’s muffled retort.
Ms. McAllen gave his shoulders a few affectionate squeezes then released. He heard the sound of two scrapping chairs as she sat down next to him. “May I see please?”
He didn’t want to, truly he didn’t. He has spent a full 30 mins of his lunch period staring at the blank sheet of paper. Only after he realized how much time he had wasted did he scramble to put something down. With heavy reluctance he rose his head up, as a few hot tears of frustration fell on the page. The only work he had to show was a page covered in erasure marks.
Ms. McAllen’s heterochromia infused gaze hit him like a hug. Which he was sure she would probably give him any moment now anyways. The woman’s eyes then shifted to the page before finally speaking. “Blaise what do you dream about?
Blaise used his shirt to wipe at his eyes. “I don’t get what that has to do with my skills-“ he felt a finger pressed against his lips. He looked up as her face dawned a maternal smile.
“No no no.~” Her silky voice said. “At night, what do you dream about?” She would lean back the two chairs groaned in pain. “I’ve had you in class long enough to know you at least can day dream! But honestly, do you know what goes on in your head at night?” Her mouth slide into a neutral frown.
Blaise vision would flicker to any and everything other point of interest in the classroom. He remained silent in that way many do in hopes that things would simply pass on by without trouble. But his teachers gaze never faulter, those eyes of hers down right pulling the answer from him as he sniffled and said. “No I don't. I just always wake up in the morning feeling wierd. I guess I’m just to stupid to even dream…”
With a knowing nod the woman slowly rose up and quaked away towards her desk. They returned moments later with a small ginger journal with a small lock. “Then I think I know exactly what’s wrong with you. You’re not stupid Blaise… You’re just constipated!”
Blaise just stared. “I’m… what?”
Ms. McAllen chuckled again. A lovely soft encouraging tone. “Art is not just making things, it’s a reflection of ourselves, it’s us taking what is inside us and putting it out into the world. When we sleep our brains act a bit like stomachs. It processes everything we witnessed that day. You have trouble expressing yourself because you've been locked yourself away!” Her freckled face bloomed into a radiant grin.
Blaise would look down at the journal then back up at his teacher, his eyes going a bit wide as he tried to process exactly what she meant. “So… how do I stop being constipated?”
Ms. McAllen’s grin would grow even wider as she leaned in close. Her voice dropped to a conspiratorial whisper. “Why… You ‘fart’ of course!” She winked at him.
Blaise’s depression broke in an instant as a deep gutter laugh rolled out of his mouth. “Ha ha ha ha… No! Come on, what do I really need to do?!”
“Blaise I mean exactly what I said, each morning when you wake up I want you to ‘fart’ out what you dreamed onto the page." She gently pressed the book into his hands. Her own hands clasped down holding his with a soft maternal warmth. "Joking aside, It doesn’t have to be perfect just journal whatever it was you saw in your dream. Do this from now on, and I think you’ll find things working out.” She then pulled Blaise into an affectionate hug. “Now let’s go get you some lunch…”
FLASHBACK: Santos Home – Date: Unknown – Time: 3:45PM.
When Blaise said their dreams made them feel weird. It was not an understatement. The first few dreams he cataloged in his journal were a solid ten out of ten on the nightmare scale. When Ms. McAllen saw them, she quickly formed an emergency parent teacher conference. Both parents dropped everything to attend. After she explained what she had tasked Blaise with she allowed the family quickly returned home to discuss. He laid the journal out for them on the table. “Ms. McAllen said this was supposed to help me… But it’s only made me feel worst!” The boy would state as he tried to gauged just how upset they were with what was going on inside his head.
In the very first dream he wrote down Blaise found himself in the form of a stuffed teddy bear. A girl with long black wavy hair would cuddle him close. Only he did not want to anywhere near her. He struggled and fought against the tight grip only to accidentally slap her in the face as he was finally able to tumble to the floor. He would look back up at the girls face as it bubbled with pure rage! Their body morphed into a liquid shadow as two other figures split out of it. A girl with wavy blond hair… and TOXIC LILLY! All three would raise one foot into the air and repeatedly slam down on your plush body. You would turn and cry out for help but all you could see in the distance was a pair of iridescent eyes that looked on silently. Suddenly Toxic Lily would yank his beaten bear form up and scream like a banshee in his face. –

The second dream was of Lillian and Jen, but what should have been a happy time held a very oppressive air. They were so much snappier with each other. Usually, good-natured ribbing contained harsh malicious daggers. Then as the arguments grew so to did their bodies. Both beautiful girls morphed into monstrous exaggerations. Limbs distorted into angular points, Their hair became wriggling vipers, The air began to stale with a harsh odor. Lillian ripped up the sidewalk and you with it. Jen jerked forwards to grabbed at the hunk of dirt pressing her face against Lillians as they both then stared down at you. Their two eyes suddenly flashed with iridescent light as they shined down on you like a spot light. Both their voices grew distorted as they screamed.

The final dream that really spooked him was Blaise awakening from his bed to find a birthday party has been set up. It was a wide sea of familiar and strange female faces. Which one would think wasn’t a bad thing, But the truth was the very solid and real meaning of the phrase ‘The Eyes of the World Are Upon You!’ There was not a single moment someone wasn’t not trying to talk to him or hold him. He was no birthday boy; he felt like the ‘gift’ of honor if anything. The figures all seem to grow and tower around him. He started to drown in a sea of female body parts. The only thing he could make out was a every changing star scape of glittering eyes that twinkled with different levels of possessiveness. It was all so suffocating he started to scream!
But thankfully a ray of hope came when his mother Miriam jumped into the fray. She held back the sea of flesh, this caused him to land on the ground as a forest of giant feet quaked around him. He felt something grab him but was instantly reassure as the voice of his father told him to follow! Suddenly a fighting ring would burst out of his living room floor. He could hear the sounds of combat as he and his father fled successfully to his front door, pausing only a moment to turn back. Ariadne, his adopted sister, was taking on all challengers with Lillian and Jen as her sidekicks. They all were masked like luchadores as horrifying monster women jumped into the ring and howled for blood!
He turned back towards his escape only to catch a massive hand grabbing his father and yanking him through the door. He screamed and tried to move but froze as one massive iridescent eye Stared him down. A single demonic voice sweetly garbled,
“ Y̶̛̛̼͉͖͈̤͇̟̘̔̈́͑̈́̓͋͗ǫ̸̫̙͔̠̙͐̓̈̂̑͜u̶̡̹̲͓͎̳̰͛̊͒̈́̃͋̚͝ ̸̨̥͙̪̠̮͚̬͋͌͂́́̽̈́͒̑͝á̷̡̠̠̼͍̋̆ͅr̴̙̺̩̉͒͒͌̒̕͝e̵̯̓ ̶̛̛̯͎̜͖̭̞̺̫̉͛̿̚m̵̺̓̒̚ì̸̘̬͖͇͎̺̗͈̝̈́͆n̷̘̳̺͚̗͙̗̖͇̔̇͒̂͑̇͒̾̕͘e̸̩͚͖̝͈̟͐̈́̈́̿͂!̷͓̙̜̩͇̘̩̣̤͑̾̇̕͝ “ ( “ You are mine!~ “ ) all around him.
Blaise watched the roller coaster of expressions; His parents were a disturbed by the first two entries, but Miriam couldn’t help but find the second hilarious. “I guess he’s taking after you in more ways than one dear husband!~” She would say through a flurry of laughter. Raphael could only chuckle as well and moved to hold his son in a side hug. “Ah yes, the ‘curse’ of my bloodline. Being irresistible to women, eh?!” His father would squeeze him gently and smile cheekily. “Do not be afraid of this my son. You will find that women are not something to be scared off, in fact they can be quite an exciting adventure!” This would cause his mother to chuckle even more. “Oh, is this the lesson we want to teach him right now?!” She rose up and pressed her hands into her hips. Cocking both an eye brow and a big hip to the side. His father cleared his throat. “What I mean Blaise, is that life is full of good people and bad people. Those that will support you and others that will harm you. What truly matters is that you are not some toy to be used. The same will go for your beloved when you meet her. Life is an adventure that should be shared with a companion who is loyal and true!”
Standing up Raphael would allow Miriam to slide into his spot as Blaise was lovely smothered in her embrace. “I think Ms. McAllen is on to something though. Our ancestors knew that dreams could be very powerful. They also saw the wisdom in dreams to see how they could be warning to stay away from a bad future or even divine truth from traumatic pasts...” It was at this point she would lean down with a much more serious expression. “Now sweetie… Just who is this ‘Toxic Lily’ you mentioned in your second dream.”
I combined two of my bigger chapters here as I realized plopping a choice down in the middle was a bad idea. Hopefully this flows way better.
