The newcomer girl, called Aoko, aimed both hands at Itzpapálotl and hit her with a barrage of over two dozen magical energy blasts in the form of blue, fire-like ghostly balls, these each hit with an impressive power of their own, compared to a hand grenade. Once the smoke cleared it could be seen that the forearm guards on Itzpapálotl's arms did get some visible damage but the rest of her was barely charred.

In the blink of an eye, the goddess retaliated with a swing from her macáhuitl and Aoko was only barely able to dodge it on the very nick of time but she was still caught by the gust of wind it created, causing her to tumble down and get blown backwards several meters.

"Got overconfident there. She's even stronger than Touko, you know" Alice said in her typical, slightly smug tone that she always used when teaching her things she was supposed to know already.

"She wasn't that strong before, her appearance changed but you're right. She's not limited by the same things that hold us humans back but I think she was already stronger than Touko in raw power alone anyway" Aoko said as she stood up once more and dusted her jeans off. She then noticed that Alice was nonchalantly still sitting on the same spot where she was, which happened to be on top of you, smothering your face.

Aoko was going to question her apparent calm but then she turned to look at Itzpapálotl and saw that more sentient plants had already emerged and resumed their fight, together with moonlight spears fired from above by Flat Snark. Thames' roar was then heard and it was powerful enough to slightly shake the very ground they stood on.

"In a way you got this under control but can your Ploys keep taking such a beating? I know their mana is getting refueled constantly but still" Aoko said.

"I will repair them later as needed but I already saw what she can do, we have to keep her pinned or she'll slice us to bits" Alice replied with a sigh "I was considering Wandersnatch but... you know how dangerous she is"

Aoko shuddered at the mention of that name. Certainly the most terrifying and arguably the most powerful of Alice's Ploys, mystical familiars with diverse abilities and most of them intended to perform the combat Alice herself doesn't directly do.

Flat Snark was the most famed out of the three due to his ability to transform the very land into a fairytale as well as providing limitless mana for anyone inside although such fairytales were bound by their original rules and thus could be defeated, as Aoko once did, Thames needed his 4th stage to be at maximum power but Wandersnatch did not need any such things, she was practically invincible and brutal beyond all measure, not even distinguishing between friend or foe other than her master.

Snapping out of those thoughts Aoko looked back at the unintentionally amusing scene, Alice still nonchalantly taking a seat on the guy they had been observing, the one being hunted down by this weird evil goddess and her supernatural minions. She smirked.

"You ran out of those healing chocolates, Alice?" She asked in a completely casual attitude that did not fit the direness of the situation at hand, but this was far from the first time the two had exchanges like this in the midst of a battle.

"I used up a good amount of them. Why? What are you getting at, Aoko?" Alice seemed annoyed by the otherwise harmless-sounding question but she'd already known her for about half a decade and she knew there had to be more to it, she wouldn't be prodding to get at nothing.

"Because it looks like you decided to give him cake. Plenty of it... In fact, he might be choking on it right now" Aoko was just one hair away from bursting out in laughter as she witnessed Alice frown, almost visibly processing the info she just received and then a faint blush adorned her face, she looked down to confirm that she was indeed sitting on your face and a more intense blush followed.

"What, are you jealous it's not you under it this time?" Alice huffed while readjusting herself on her impromptu seat, resulting on more of her soft, doughy weight bearing down on your face. As one would expect it was very warm and breathing was difficult but at least it wasn't like when Lillian sat on your face. Alice's butt had a soapy scent to it, more like a natural, herbal sort of soap made from tea leaves, striking you as a very fancy sort.

"Wha-?!" Aoko couldn't help but blush at getting called out as a counter, though she really should've expected it. She shook her head and tried to hide her own blush at the nonchalant remark. The two stopped when they heard you struggling to breathe, as Alice's shifting made it significantly harder.

"Look at him, he's smelling that thing quite eagerly" She chuckled.

"It means he's got good taste at least. I made him look at my ass earlier with the Mystic Eye but he didn't become a slobbering horndog. I was thinking he was made of tougher stuff but this is making me reconsider" Alice said with the subtlest smirk of her own.

She did some wiggling and then finally got up, getting off your face. You were immensely relieved not to be under that suffocating pressure and warmth but you tried your best to now show it too much, just quietly inhaling the fresh, cooler air as it rushed towards your face.

"Had a good time?" Aoko asked you with a look that reminded you of Lillian's whenever she teased you. A look of complete nonchalance with a smug smirk to go with it.

"I'm... fine" You said, caught mid-breath resulting in a longer pause than intended.

"Are you sure, you look pretty beatup. I'd say Alice's fat ass did a number on you" Aoko pressed, figuring that if you weren't a full-on pervert then you'd be pretty indignant at Alice sitting on your face longer than she had to.

"No need to call names, besides that was from battling those things that serve the mad goddess over there" You sighed "I'm sorry, I'm not much of fighter, don't have cool superpowers like you two"

Both Aoko and Alice exchanged a look at your response. Definitely not what they expected. The latter felt her pride swell from you refusing to take a jab at her even though she arguably deserved it, offsetting the missed chance for more playful banter while Aoko only realized just now she might have misjudged you, feeling a bit bad but mostly bummed out from not getting to chastise another idiotic pervert and getting to punch them. That aside, that you referred to their abilities as "cool superpowers" stroke their egos in a pleasant way that they weren't very used to.

Aoko then shook her head to try and also shake those thoughts of. She hadn't been mad at someone in a while and she wanted to turn you into a valid target, or at the very least get you in trouble with Alice for her own amusement.

"We could hear you huffing Alice's butt though" She said, back to her accusatory tone, which then shifted into a smug snicker "How desperate must you be to sniff that badly such a big, reeking ass, huh?"

"First of all: Insulting her was uncalled for" You said with an annoyed sigh "Second, I was just trying to breathe"

"Because her ass is so fat?" Aoko smirked and saw the annoyance become more evident in Alice's eyes, which narrowed at her.

"Because I almost got killed by the goddess" You shook your head.

"I dunno, you strike me as the sort of pesky bastard that doesn't die even if he gets killed" Aoko giggled "Kinda like a roach"

You paused for a moment. Something about that phrase rang a bell in your mind, something associated with Cindy. Maybe this came up in some anime or game she showed you? Itzpapálotl's screeching snapped you out of that admittedly unproductive train of thought.

"In the meantime, there's that butterfly we need to get rid of" You said and shortly after that, the Tweedle twins got sent flying all the way back, landing on the ground face-first before Alice, who merely gave a disappointed sigh and rolled her eyes.

"Ah, we messed up big time!" Tweedle Dee said.

"We can't fail like this in front of Ms. Alice!" Tweedle Dum then spoke "We need to bite harder into that butterfly!"

The two of them then dashed at inhuman speed and attacked her, demonstrating uncanny strength, speed and flexibility as they dodged the goddess' macáhuitl swings and landed a few good punches on her before they bit down on her shoulders once more, trying their hardest to sink their razor-sharp teeth into her flesh, drawing a little blood.

"We're going to have to coordinate if we want to take her down" Aoko said, back to her more serious mood. You noticed that spinning circles made of blue light and with inscriptions in an unknown language appeared before her hands.

"You heard her, hit the goddess as best as you can" Alice quietly commanded.

Suddenly, the sentient plants that surrounded Itzpapálotl began to intertwine and fuse into each other, taking the form of a wooden giant comparable to Thames. This giant turned one of its hands into a sharpened wooden spear and hit her with the force of a truck, causing many splinters to fly off as the tip pierced her stomach but not very deeply and the rest of the wooden giant's hand snapped in hald from the sheer impact.

The wood that had been left embedded into Itzpapálotl's abdomen was smashed to countless splinters when Thames hit her using both hands like a makeshift wrecking ball, sending her flying away into the distance. The Tweedle twins kept biting down on her shoulders, refusing to get shaken off and making her movements more cumbersome.

Just before she landed on the ground, many giant forks and knives emerged from beneath and skewered her from behind. Then, the false moon above in the sky glowed as Flat Snark fired his greatest barrage of moonlight spears yet, making it seem more like a mystical machinegun, the ethereal projectiles hit her with powerful concussive forces but eventually they began to pierce her abdomen and chest. Itzpapálotl then heard a sort of swirling sound, a menacing one whose nature was given away by the bluish glow coming from the side.

"Got you" Aoko said, firing a massive energy beam at near point blank, making for a massive explosion of blue ghostly flames. Was it enough?
