She pushed a button to turn it on and quickly configured some sort of settings, finally pressing a button that made the gun charge up, making a high pitched noise similar to that of a defibrillator. She then shot you from behind, hitting you roughly on the middle of the back, and the bluish energy beam zapped you like a mild electric shock that despite not being that powerful, it stunned you, though most of it was probably just the sheer confusion and surprise.
