You entered a desolate rocky world. It looked like the Grand Canyon, but far bigger. You found it a bit odd that there weren't even any birds in the sky, but most importantly, you had no idea why Chiyoko had brought you here, she stood next to you, seemingly admiring the landscape
"What's even this place?" You asked, even though she probably read that question in your mind before you even spoke
"This is a desert planet. Not like a literal desert, but... you know... there's no life in it..." Chiyoko said in a surprisingly serious tone
"It doesn't look like there was some kind of huge disaster, why would there be no life?"
"This is the sad fate of universes where either their creator deity dies or abandons them. This entire universe is just like this planet, full of planets that once harbored life, but now there's nothing. When I first came across this place I was surprised that there wasn't any deity to come and ask for an explanation for my presence" She explained
"Wow... that's really terrible"
"But... you know, in a way, it's a relief"
"How so?" You raised an eyebrow
"This whole universe is full of intact, sterile planets. There's no life so, there are no chances of hurting anyone or anything. Makes for good training grounds for someone like us dragons" She said, and now you understood, though you felt a bit burdened after hearing of the unknown tragedy that befell on this place. You then heard some growling, and it came from her stomach.
"There are some other uses for places like these though" She laughed with a hint of nervousness
"Is there any food stashed here?" You said, though you found it weird, she had had a pretty hearty dinner, she shouldn't be hungry, but then again, you didn't really know the true extent of an actual dragon's appetite, so you could be wrong
"I'm not hungry, silly" She said, looking down at her gurgling belly and lightly patting it.
"That food your mom gave me is pretty tasty... and powerful"
"Huh? How?" You asked, not quite understanding what she was talking about. To your surprise, her tail reappeared, and it waved sideways like when a cat was nervous or stressed, though once again, you couldn't be sure if that meant the same in dragon body language or if it meant something else. Chiyoko then walked in front of you and turned to face you
"Master, touch my tail!" She said, now it waved like a snake, like one of those that danced while someone played a flute
"Why?"
"Have you ever touched a dragon's tail?" She asked giving you a smug look
"I don't think I've touched anything's tail, except for maybe some cats' and dogs' " You replied, giving her a deadpan look
"Just hold your hand out" She insisted and, knowing she wouldn't be satisfied until you played along, sighed and relented, holding out your right hand
Chiyoko walked a few steps until she was less than a foot away from you, then her tail reached for your hand, shuddering upon feeling the surprisingly soft and supple meaty limb wrap itself around your hand, sliding between your fingers, swirling around your wrist. It was a bizarre feeling, this appendage had a softness and a flexibility that struck you as unnatural, yet you were seeing and feeling it curling around your forearm, it was touching you in a way that you didn't think anyone could touch you
Another thing that struck you as odd was that this reptilian-looking appendage gave off a gentle warmth of its own, and you knew that normally something like this should feel cool to the touch. You heard her giggle, though you weren't sure if that was because of what she was doing or because she was reading your mind
"We dragons aren't cold-blooded, you know?" She said
"Going off your memories, I think we could compare to the dinosaurs of your world's ancient past. We look every bit reptilian, at least in our full draconic form, but have a faster metabolism just like other warm-blooded creatures" She said, tightening her tail around your whole arm, which was like a very strange hug, as her flesh felt slightly squishy even
"I think someone likes my tail more than he's trying to let on" She teased you, making you blush and look away.
"No need to be embarrassed, Master... if you like it this much I can spoil you with it" She whispered into your ear, making you get goosebumps on the rest of your body, as the arm her tail was wrapped around already had them. But she then unwrapped it and it returned to its former position
"Now what?" You asked after taking a couple of minutes to regain your composure. You noticed that her tail was twitching a little
"Now, I want you to pull my tail" Chiyoko smiled
"What for?" You still had no idea what the point of that was, and then wondered if she was going to try a gecko-style prank, making you pull her tail off and scare you, making you think you tore it off yourself
"Don't worry, it's not what you're thinking" She reassured you and held her tail out towards you, it had to curve around her own wide hips, since she was standing facing you, but it was plenty long for you to reach it by merely extending your arm. Hesitantly, you did so, grabbing it and feeling your fingers sink a little into its soft flesh, even though you could feel a hint that the scales on it, while they felt smooth, were incredibly hard, that was a weird, almost contradictory feeling. Taking a deep breath, you gently pulled it towards you
"C'mon, put some more strength into it" She said in a somewhat taunting tone, and while you were still fearing a little that self-amputation kind of prank, decided to go on anyway, and yanked it towards you as hard as you could. Instead of it coming off, what ensued next was an unbelievably massive explosion minus actual fire, but there was a raging thunderous roar that made the ground shake and even crack beneath your feet and around you. All of the massive boulders and rocky structures ahead quickly cracked as they endured the monstrous shockwaves that the blaring 'roar' made and in mere seconds they were pulverized and blown away by seemingly impossibly powerful winds
The whole thing lasted over a minute, though to you it might as well been an entire hour and you wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Your eyes widened in a horrified shock as you saw that the entire landscape you were admiring moments ago was completely gone, there were no longer signs of anything other than a vast, completely flat, otherwise featureless and seemingly endless surface. Before you asked Chiyoko what the hell was that, the smell hit you, it reeked of brimstone, which you knew from Chemistry class experiments, plus Lillian's various attempts at replicating it via 'biological means'. You coughed and wheezed for a while, though it didn't seem the smell would go away anytime soon, so, when you became able to breathe it in without burning your nose too badly, you spoke again
"Chiyoko, what the HELL was that?"
She cutely laughed and even teared up a little from so much laughter, when she finally could stop herself she answered
"That was the effect from your mom's food" She said, and you finally put two and two together, your face getting drained of its color once the realization hit you like a bucket of cold water to the face. Seeing that, she nodded, further confirming your horrified conclusion
"Y-You freaking farted an entire grand canyon to dust?!" You asked in absolute disbelief
"Yup" She nodded, and even looked proud of that 'feat'
"Why did you show me this?" You asked, sounding like a lifeless husk after your hopes and dreams were also apparently blown away by that raging wind
"Because I needed to let that out, and if I had ripped it at your house I would've blown away the whole neighborhood... and maybe a good chunk of the city too" She added with a guilty giggle.
You facepalmed hard and groaned.
'Yep, this is Lillian on insane hyper-steroids. And I thought Sheila and Jordana were bad'
"W-w-wait a minute! Will you have to do this every time you need to fart? How... how often would that be?" You asked with a shaky voice, even the calming spell she had used on you earlier couldn't suppress the absolute terror you felt when asking those questions
"After tasting that... I think it'll be pretty often if I keep on eating your world's food. In particular whatever your mom put into what she gave me" She said
"But it's worth it, it's all so tasty!"
"I think that's a terrible idea. Why don't you just eat the food in your stash?"
"Even if I did that, that food would only last me like a year at best, and since it's all special I'd rather share it on special occasions" She shrugged
"But what if you let one out in your sleep? You could even kill me!" You thought, once again remembering the times when you exaggeratedly said a similar thing to Lillian as she constantly 'shared' with you her seemingly endless supply of gas
"Good point. Besides, at this rate I'd end up destroying this planet in like a week" She said, making you nearly faint. She waved her left hand, as if drawing some kind of glyph in the air, and like when she stopped time, an arcane-looking kind of glyph, this one made out of pale yellowish light, appeared on her stomach. It glowed brightly for a split second before it disappeared
"What did that do?" You nervously asked
"It's a seal to help manage that 'little problem' "
"How?" You were almost afraid to ask
"Well, instead of letting out these huge bursts, it's gonna split them into more manageable bouts that shouldn't wreck anything, but that means I'll be blasting a lot more throughout the day, though it seems you're already used to that" she giggled
"Just kill me please" You said with a voice that sounded like your soul had already abandoned your body
"What's even this place?" You asked, even though she probably read that question in your mind before you even spoke
"This is a desert planet. Not like a literal desert, but... you know... there's no life in it..." Chiyoko said in a surprisingly serious tone
