"Thanks, bro!" Amanda cheered.
She quickly grabbed one of the pink ankle socks on her bed, presumably the one with the splinter in it, and brought it to you. She held the mouth open with both of her hands on the floor, waiting for you to retrieve the tiny piece of wood. The open sock looked like a dark and ominous cave, calling for you to step inside. You began looking for the splinter as you made your way into the sock.
