Safe! My name is Phil Tiny chapter 18 by copier · original author: swp1

Phil thinks she is heading straight towards him, but it quickly becomes apparent that she is following the piece of paper he used as a parachute. It is now blowing away in the wind. Right as she is about to grab it, another breeze rolls in, and it flies away. She runs chasing after it out of Phil's sight. Phil waits, trying to come up with a plan. After about an hour, Monique comes back clearly frustrated.

"She's going to kill me if I lost him!" she mutters, probably referring to the karate teacher.

She looks around for what seems like forever, including around the tree, but she doesn't check within the roots where Phil has so cleverly hidden. Eventually she gives up and heads back into the house.

Now that he's safe from her, Phil starts to think of the best way to get home. Should I get home by myself or try to get help from a pedestrian, he asks himself. He doesn't know where he is, and by normal-sized standards he is probably several miles from home, something made even longer by size. It could take days to try to get home by himself. That being said, a random stranger may not be that much help: could he trust her to help him? Even trying to get a stranger's attention could be dangerous. Neither seem like ideal options.

What does he decide?
