He decides to get someone's help. It's not guaranteed to work, but he knows that he can't really make it alone when he doesn't know where he's going or how far.

He looks out to see if there is anyone around who might help him. There are two women approaching him on the sidewalk, each from a different direction:

One is a teenage girl, maybe 17 or 18 on a jog. She is wearing short running-shorts and a tang top.

The other is a business woman talking on her cell phone. She looks like she is in her early thirties, and is wearing a business suit, darkened panty-hose, and black heels. She appears to be on her way home from work.
