A ride in Rem's Sock

Subaru decided that if Rem was so confident in her idea then he will do the possible to deal with it.
"Okay if you think that being in your sock its the best option to get to the mansion" Subaru said not very convinced himself. Also he had other preoccupations in mind and didn't wanted to deal with transportation issues right now. His major fear was, how he gonna save Emilia, Ram, Beatrice, and the town at this size now?
"Thank you Subaru you will not regret it" Said Rem with a caring smile.
She pulled back the edge of her knee sock to make enough space to you to get in, without further adieu, she pushed Subaru as far as she could because she didn't want Subaru to fall out by accident.
Subaru ended in the ankle height with his face turned to the skin and the sock fiber plastering him against the soft skin of Rem. When suddenly Subaru Felt a great motion, it was Rem who started to walk back to the market where she left a basket with apples when Subaru shrunk.
Meanwhile Subaru started slip further in Rem's sock until he reached the bottom in the heel area where he get repetitively stepped while Rem was walking.
Rem who felt Subaru get underfoot and didn't want to hurt him decided to help him to get to the toe area so taped the tip of the shoe in the floor until she felt Subaru get underneath her toes. Satisfied with the current position of Subaru with his head under her big toe and the rest of his body under the her other toes with his feet barely reaching her pinky toe. Rem smiled cutely.
Oh he fits perfect I think this gonna be his official method of transport and protection until he get's back to normal. Rem though giving Subaru an affective squeeze with her toes.
Sadly because of the massive merchant traffic specially those who bought and sold weapons Rem had to take the long route back home since there wasn't any other options, Rem decided to walk slowly and step lightly even taking breaks from time to time to make sure that Subaru was OK.
Meanwhile Subaru was mostly unhurt, yea he was under a great pressure every time Rem took a step but wasn't painful, actually the worst was the heat that increased greatly the more time passed, and even more since Rem toes hugged and squeezed him repeatedly every time she took break to check if he was OK, but what shocked him the most was when in Rem's first break she asked to...
After a while Rem decided to take her first break and check on Subaru, not wanting to take Subaru out of her shoe in public she seated in fountain edge crossed her legs and started to squeeze Subaru but she wasn't sure if he was OK so after a moment of thinking she whispered to her shoe asking Subaru.
"Hey Subaru are you OK can you hear me in there? if you are ok please lick my toe." Rem instructed.
Subaru hearing Rem's request though that was joke but after a while of being squeezed and accepting that he couldn't communicate in any other way, licked Rem's big toe which had a salty and a little cheese taste.
Feeling a tickle and good sensation in her big toe Rem told to Subaru. "Thank you Subaru, from now on and until we arrive to the mansion every time I squeeze you please lick my toes back to know that you are OK" Rem said a little embarrassed but confident that was the best way to maintain Subaru safe.
This routine continued until they reached mansion and when Rem entered the main hall there was Crusch Karsten who get colse to Rem and asked where was Subaru.
