After Subaru died frozen in the mansion, he woke back in the market but this time something had changed extremely, everything was as he remembered, but gigantic
Suddenly a giant hand grabs him and with a very fast motion he got up in the sky, well in the sky for him at his current size at least (one inch approximately). Was Rem who get to him as soon she felt an increased witch scent on him and saw that he somehow got shrunk.
"What happened how you get so little suddenly?" Rem asked with a worried expression on her face.
"I don't know, I just shrunk" Subaru said as frightened and confused as Rem, if not even more.
Rem looking around make an executive decision entering a nearby alley to prevent someone from seeing or even hurt Subaru cupping him with both hands, once in the alley she let Subaru out again.
At the same time Subaru saw a gigantic hand above him and falling on him in an instant everything became pitch black, but he could still hear bustle and voices out in the market, he felt a soft and nice sensation all around him although a bit suffocating and hot too, also some kind of motion in a certain direction after a short time the sudden light blinded him.
"Are you ok Subaru" Rem asked with caring look. Oh he is so cute at this size I just want to protect and look after him. She though for herself.
"I think so, this whole situation is so strange." Well after coming from other world and experimenting magic, after seeing fantastic creatures, and return from the death maybe no so strange but still. He though.
Meanwhile Rem was thinking which was the best course of action, after a moment she decided that the best option was get back to Crusch Karsten Mansion and then decide what to do in better conditions. But now she confront a new problem how to get Subaru there, she can't just place him in a pocket he could fall and get lost, then she looked down and saw her shoes. That way an idea formed in her head what if she hide him in her knee high sock that way she can felt him at any moment an he wont get lost, also was the best way to protect him.
"Subaru I need you to trust me for this I need to take you back to the mansion and I think that the best way to do it is placing you in my sock that way I can know where you are all time and you wont get lost, what do you think? if you dislike the idea completely we can think in other option but I think this is the best one"
