Caught between his not-so-little stepsister and the most notorious girl in Ventus’s Goth House, Max winced. In mere hours, his entire existence had narrowed to the whims of his least favorite family member—and now she was surrounded by girls even more openly sadistic than her. With every rumor he’d heard during orientation, he had no desire to be left alone with Kali. But sticking with Izzy was hardly better.

“Tests?” Izzy purred, giving her stepbrother an affectionate squeeze in her hand. “What kinds of tests?”

“Nothing too dangerous.” Kali’s voice was low and smooth. “Just want to make sure the serum isn’t giving him any… side effects.”

“Okay. That makes sense.” Izzy folded her arms under her chest, stretching her black tank top even further. “Can I stick around and watch?” She flashed that lazy, knowing grin Max had grown up hating. “Wouldn’t want you having all the fun without me.”

Kali’s dark eyes flicked between them, one corner of her mouth twitching upward. “Fine.” She extended her hand. “Just don’t get in the way.”

“Alright, lil bro,” Izzy said, glancing down at the tiny figure cupped in her palm. “Behave yourself, okay?” She gave him one last playful pinch between thumb and forefinger, then tilted her hand and let him tumble gently into Kali’s waiting palm.

As soon as Max landed, Kali was moving again—swiftly carrying him across the lab and setting him inside a small, empty terrarium on the center table. The glass walls seemed impossibly high, and the floor was cool and gritty under his bare feet. He tried to retreat, but there was nowhere to go.

Kali leaned over the open top. From this angle, she was a skyscraper of black leather and dark brown skin, her mesh top just tight enough to emphasize the powerful lines of her torso. “First check—respiratory tolerance.” She turned slightly, presenting the broad curve of her ass. “Standard procedure.”

prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtttttttttttt

Max had half a second to register the low, rolling sound above him before the air changed. Then a warm, swampy gust rolled down into the terrarium like a living thing—earthy, sharp, unmistakably intimate. It filled the enclosed space instantly, pressing against his face, stinging his eyes. He coughed and staggered, but the gas kept coming in slow, deliberate waves as Kali made sure none of it escaped.

“Damn,” Izzy muttered, sounding impressed. “That’s a solid one.”

“Maybe for you.” Kali straightened, already pulling a small notebook from her back pocket. She scribbled something with a stubby pencil. “He’s still conscious. Good sign. Usually I’d have someone else running these, but it’s Parents’ Weekend.”

Izzy shifted her weight, one hand drifting to her own stomach. “Speaking of… I think I’ve got one brewing. Mind if I cut in?”

Kali glanced at her, amused. “Sure. The more data, the better.”

Izzy didn’t hesitate. She stepped up to the terrarium, turned, and lowered her hips until her cut-off shorts hovered just above the opening. Max looked up at the denim expanse, heart pounding. She didn’t even look down at him—just gave a little shrug and let loose.

brrraaaaappp

The blast was less forceful than Kali’s, but far more humiliating for its target. As it slammed into him like a humid wind, heavy and clinging, he slumped to his knees inside the glass prison. Above, Izzy released a satisfied little sigh.

“Not bad.” Kali chuckled, jotting another note.

Max stayed on his knees, head spinning. His skin felt slick with the air's residue. Every breath tasted like his giant tormentors.

“Next,” Kali announced, closing the notebook. She reached into the terrarium and plucked Max out between thumb and forefinger, lifting him free of the lingering haze. “Pressure tolerance. We’ll keep it simple.”

As she moved toward a low padded bench against the wall, Max felt his stomach lurch. He’d seen enough of Izzy’s casual cruelty over the years to know where this was headed.

“Wait—” Izzy cut in, stepping between Kali and the bench. “Mind if I take this one? I’d hate for lil bro to finally get what he’s always wanted.”

Kali paused, one eyebrow arched high. “What’s that?”

Izzy grinned. “Some actual contact with a girl his age who isn’t me.”

The Indian amazon pondered this for a moment, then laughed, a rich, genuine sound. “You’re something else, new girl. Fine. I’ll observe.”

Without warning, Kali wound up her arm and flicked Max through the air with a playful snap of her wrist. The world exploded into a sickening blur of motion. Max tumbled end over end. The lab spun wildly around him—velvet drapes and oak cabinets streaked past in a dizzying whirl. Wind roared in his ears. His stomach flipped violently as gravity yanked at him from every direction. For one terrifying heartbeat, he was completely weightless. Nothing but a naked speck hurtling across open space, utterly at the mercy of the giantess’s casual strength. Then Izzy’s hand shot out, fingers closing around him like a set of keys.

“Gotcha,” she giggled, giving him another little shake for good measure. “Bet that was fun, huh, lil bro?”

Before Max could respond, Izzy carried him to the counter where a sleek digital scale sat beside a row of labeled vials. With a theatrical flourish, she set him down dead center on the cold glass platform. The numbers on the display flickered and settled at his negligible weight. Izzy turned, presenting the full, rounded swell of her backside again. She hooked her thumbs into the waistband of her shorts, tugged them down just enough to clear the way, and lowered herself slowly, deliberately.

Max’s world went dark. Soft, inescapable. Izzy’s weight didn’t quite crush him—the serum was clearly preventing his bones from snapping—but the pressure was suffocating, molding to his tiny form like a living blanket of heat. He felt the subtle shift in her muscles as she settled in. Then a deep rumble built beneath him.

brrrraaaaaaapppppppp

The fart rolled out directly against the scale and straight into Max’s trapped world. The smell was trapped with him, and he couldn’t breathe anything else.

Kali watched with open entertainment, arms crossed over her chest. “We try to limit the number of additional variables in tests like these. It has a way of throwing off the data.” Her tone stayed light, the corner of her mouth still lifted. She clearly wasn’t upset—just noting the deviation with the mild interest of someone watching an overeager intern improvise.

Izzy stayed there for several long seconds, humming to herself. Max’s lungs burned, but he didn’t black out. The serum really did work.

Finally, she stood and plucked him free again. His hair was plastered to his forehead. His skin was flushed and damp. Izzy held him up between two fingers, inspecting him like a piece of jewelry.

Kali stepped closer to tap the scale’s display. “Extraordinary durability against sustained pressure and oxygen deprivation. No tissue damage, no loss of consciousness. Even under repeated exposure, and a little… improvising.” She grinned. “The serum’s performing exactly as intended.”

Izzy’s eyes lit up with pure delight. “So I can go even harder on him?”

Kali’s smile was slow and knowing. “Within reason. Wouldn’t want him to break too quickly. But yes, by all means—push him. He can take it.”

Izzy tucked Max against her palm again, almost gently. “Hear that, lil bro? Good news for me.”

Kali ushered them both out of the lab and up a narrow staircase lined with framed black-and-white photographs of past Juno sisters. They emerged into the main hallway, then continued to a heavy wooden door on the second floor. Kali pushed it open, revealing a spacious room done in deep burgundies and blacks—a four-poster bed, heavy velvet drapes, and conspicuously empty desk and dresser.

“Take your time unpacking,” Kali said. “You’ve got the room to yourself. Most other dorms make freshmen double up, but we’re big on personal space in here. For women, at least.” Her gaze slid over Izzy again, tracing the curve of her hips and the swell of her chest. She licked her lips once, openly. “I see a lot of potential in you, new girl. Looking forward to seeing how you settle in.”

“Appreciate the tour.” Izzy gave a little mock curtsy. “And the lab time.”

Kali lingered in the doorway another beat, then stepped back. The door clicked shut behind her.

Izzy let out a long breath, rolling her shoulders. She reached back with her free hand, tugging at the waistband of her shorts, and fished Max out from between her cheeks where she’d tucked him during the walk upstairs. He came free, slick and gasping, dangling in front of her face.

She leered down at him, eyes half-lidded, lips curved. “Alright, lil bro. No more tours, no more introductions. Just you, me, and a whole semester in this place.”

Max opened his mouth—whether to beg or curse, he wasn’t sure—but before he could get a word out, a sharp knock sounded on the door.

Izzy’s grin didn’t falter. She simply closed her fingers around him again, hiding him from view, and called sweetly toward the door, “Come in!”
