Atop Man's Best Friend

The chaotic tendencies of a dog were too unpredictable to just stand there and do nothing about it. Your home was already unlivable at your new size and would furthermore be decimated if this dog stay much longer. Your only hope it seemed, was to catch a ride back to its master's home and establish human contact. You take off running through fields of dirt back behind your house to the stationary brown paw planted in the ground. As you get closer, the arched claws and black paw pads were just as menacing as they were smelly. The serrated texture provided excellent grip luckily and you were able to scale the bottom half of the paw with much ease. By the time the dog began to move, the long fur above kept you nestled against the mighty leg and safe from falling off. In between brief moment of rest, you slowly scaled the thick brown hairs up the leg and eventually, onto the beast's back. Light shined overhead through tree-like strands of fur over rigid yet flaky skin. The air certainly smelled like dog and was something you'd have to get used to for the time being. You were currently just behind the base of the dog's neck, climb up that way would bring you to it's face where you might get its attention. For whatever reason you could also turn the other way where the hair grew thicker and wait for someone to pet it and ride a hand to safety.
