Ignoring the empty cells and those filled with corpses and others… remains. There's cells filled with female humanoid creatures, varied in species besides human. All of them chained up, with a sigil branded on their faces slowly radiating purple energy. They look lifeless, though content in a way.

From the sigil’s shape itself, it seems to be some sort of brand for criminals, but doesn't tell what crimes they've committed. Just that it's extreme enough to warrant branding.
