If this had to be done, it had to be done thoroughly. All of the island was to be purified and resculpted before mortals would be allowed to inhabit it again. It would require more drastic actions, but Galleon was certain that they would understand, in time. She licked her lips as she prepared herself.
"Expedience." (I apologize for such drastic measures, but I ask of you to stay calm. You shall not be hurt)
Galleon reached down below the sky island to grasp it in her hand lightly. The mild tremors that this action caused were alarming to Solodem's denizens, but what truly caused them to panic was the godlike woman's descend. She was leaning down, making sure that her breasts didn't accidentally brush against the island as she prepared to give everyone her blessing. A small sigh escaped her descending lips, inadvertently heralding their arrival with warm, humid winds.
While a fair amount were enthralled by the display, many others were seeking out any shelter they could find. It was in vain; Galleon could not afford a light peck lest she might miss some of the precious skydwellers. Buildings and other structures crumpled beneath the weight of her love. Everyone in the town felt the moist embrace of her blessing as they were buried beneath the soft lips.
The ones who were not utterly captured by this display of love were praying for a quick death, only to slowly realize the gentle nature of this calamity. There was great pressure pressing down on everyone, almost painfully so, but never crossing over to actual pain. Every single living being who had been touched by Galleon's blessing would remain would remain unharmed by what was about to come.
Even a short moment can feel like an eternity under right conditions. This was the case for the many fortunate ones that were finally released from under Galleon's soft oppression. They would emerge to a destroyed town, a sight of which made them feel equally devastated. They were all soaked with saliva, and there was more to come once the makeshift waterfall trailing from her mouth would break off and spread to the streets of the ruined town.
Nevertheless, they were the fortunate ones. One hundred or so denizens had become stuck to those plush lips that now raised off the ground, bringing them with her. Galleon felt them, of course, and did her best to soothe them telepathically. Ultimately, the only thing that would bring them comfort would be a place of respite, something that Galleon would have to arrange for all of these mortals. But how?
