With your powers and Ilbien’s combining in perfect harmony, the small crack in the floor requires only seconds to become a fairly large gap in the floor. None of the dungeon’s patrolling guards are close enough to have heard the rather loud sounds of earth-rending magic, so your much-taller-than-you cellmate hops into the hole, with you hastily following suit.

The tunnel you had created and entered turns out to be pitch-dark, your fairy magic only being enough to provide illumination for a very short distance. Taking note of this, Ilbien whispers another magical chant in a language even you cannot discern; resulting in a glowing fireball twice your size appearing before you! Curiosity convinces you to reach a hand towards the flame - and yet, it doesn’t feel hot in the least. The shining fireball, apparently possessing some degree of sentience, drifts through the tunnel with a gleam sufficient to guide you both closer to freedom (hopefully without Princess Yvetta or the labyrinth’s guards finding out).
