She is unconscious on her own bed and Jack figures there isn't much he can do to help her and his best course of action is to out of there and back on his mission.  He starts trekking for the open bedroom room and he makes it out to the hallway. 

Jack has been in Zoe's house  many times in the past and he knows the way to her room.  He quickly moves along the wall down the hall.  Arriving in front of the colossal door to Zoe's room, Jack sees it is closed which puts a damper on his plans.

Jack hears a groin from another room and realizes that Zoe's mom is waking up.  If she remembers seeing him, she may come out at any minute looking for him.    Jack knows he is out of time and tries squeezing through the bottom of the door to get into Zoe's room.  He succeeds getting through as Zoe's mom, Kate, has woken up and remembering what happened starts looking for Jack.  He hears Kate say "Come out little Jack.  I won't hurt you." and Jack knows he has limited time before she comes into Zoe's room in pursuit of him.

Jack scans the room as her is sprinting toward her bed but thinks it is an obvious  hiding place and looks for something else.  He closet is across from the side of the bed.  He remembers the floor of her closet is a mess ad it should provide effective cover to hide and he moves in that direction.    He's more than halfway there when he hears Zoe's door opening and Kate comes in calling "Little Jack.  Are you hiding in here.  Come out please, I just want to talk."

Jack knows he won't make the closet in time and dives into one of Zoe's Ugg boots that was the closest to him climbing down the fur lining to be as well hidden as possible.  Kate continues to call for him and then he hears her say "That girl is such a slob."  as she picks up the boots and sets then down upright in front of the closet doors.  She picks some other random items up and then thinks to herself "Why bother, she's not going to care. 

Kate goes back and puts rolled up towels at the outside bottom of each of her daughter's bedroom door thinking it will limit the little guy's movement and then returns to her room to continue searching.

Meanwhile, Jack is at the bottom of Zoe's boot and he is inundated with the smell of Zoe's feet.  He remembers that she likes wearing these fur-lined boots without socks.  He looks up  at the opening far above his head and out of reach.  Zoe doesn't know he's in her house and he's trapped in her boot until he can devise an escape.  He tries pushing into the side of the boot or rocking it side to side to tip it over but that doesn't work as he just doesn't have the mass.

He then tries to climb out grabbing the fur fibers as hand holds.  He makes it about a third of the way before falling and then halfway.  His arms hurt and he decides to rest for a few minutes before trying again. 

As Jack resets he hears Zoe's voice outside the room asking "Why is there a towel in front of my door?" as she moves the towel and comes into the room.  Jack knows this is his opportunity and starts to climb again desperate to get to Zoe.
