Lydia tells Jack, "I need to tell you something.  I always liked you since we were friends in elementary school."  Jack responds "I know.  I like you too."  Lydia looks down at him in the palm of her hand says "No I REALLY liked you.  When we got older I was sure we would date but you were always with someone else and I was the friend.   Then you hooked up with Zoe and you started talking about being with her forever and I realized I lost my opportunity.  That was until you two broke up and I thought I'd have a chance but all you talked about was getting back together with her and now this."

Jack doesn't know what to say as he always thought of her like one of his guy friends.  He never considered dating her.  Jack says "I hear you but I did all this for a second chance with Zoe.  If she doesn't take me back we, you can give me the antidote and we can talk about all of this."

Lydia seems a bit upset and says "You aren't listening to me.  I love you.  I've always loved you and you are too stubborn to see what is right in front of you.  Zoe has no interest in you anymore."  Jack holds his ground and says "I came this far.  I need to give this at least one more try."  

Lydia closes her fingers around Jack's body and says "It will always be one more time with you.  Do you know the definition of insanity is when you do the same thing over and over expecting the results to change.  They won't and she isn't getting back together with you.  Now I have a better idea.  I can keep you all cute and tiny with me all the time.  You will see how much I love you and you will learn to love me back.  Once I think you appreciate me and want to be with me long term, I'll always have the antidote to restore you."

Jack can't believe what Lydia is telling him and says "Lydia, you are my best friend but I'm in love with Zoe.  You can't do this to me."  Lydia carries him over to her dresser saying "Stop saying her name.  I don't want to  hear it again.  You are all mine now and you'll learn to love me.  Now I want you to have some time to think about this and realize I am right.  She opens a jewelry box on her dresser that is glass on all sides with a hinged glass lid and sets you down inside.  "Think about it." she says as she closes the lid and latches it trapping Jack inside. 

The jewelry box is wide and long enough to hold him with plenty of room left but it's not tall enough for Jack to stand up.  He lays down on the hard surface while he sees her leave the bedroom.  He tries pushing on the lid and it doesn't budge and he knows he is stuck till she comes back.  He lies down and thinks about what went wrong with his plan.  Lydia was helping him all along with this plan and his previous plans to get back with Zoe.  Now out of the blue she loves him.  She's his friend, they hang up and watch TV and play games.  Now she professes her love for him.  He just didn't think of her like that and he didn't think that would ever change.  

Jack is in Lydia's glass jewelry box a couple hours before she comes back with a capful of water and some pieces of cracker and cheese that she places in the box with him staring down at him.  "I thought you might be hungry" she tells him "Let me know if you want something else and I'll see what I can do.  Soon you will realize I am right about all of this."  Jack looks back up at her and asks "If you are in love with me, why did you lock me in this box?"  Lydia responds "I wanted you to have quiet time to think and I know you better than anyone else.  If I just left you alone in my room, you would have tried to escape and get to Zoe.  I am doing this for your own good."

Jack say "Far enough, but you are my friend and I just don't think of you like that.  Now can you mail me like we agreed?"  Lydia is annoyed by his stubborn attitude and replies "I guess this is going to take a lot longer than I thought but you will come around eventually.  As far as my jewelry box, I'll look around for something bigger for you but for now you'll be safe and sound in here.  Now rest up and I'll be back before bedtime."

Lydia leaves him again for a few hours and he eats what she left  as he tries to come up with some sort of plan.   It is late when she comes back.  She opens the box and  asks Jack "So did you think about what I told you?"   Jack looks at her and  says...
