Reunited with Lydia
Winning Her Back Chapter 6

Jack throws himself on Lydia's show when she stops the locks the front door and he's  holding on tight with both arms to her show laces as she makes her way down the path to the street.   He continues to hang on for dear life and yell at her to get her attention but she is wearing earbuds listening to music.  She heads to a bus stop and takes a bus and he wonders where she is going.  Ina little while, he gets his answer when she gets off the bus and he sees she is walking into the mall.

 

"Crap!" Jack thinks "She is headed to her job at the mall Cinnabon.  Sooner or later she has got to take those earbuds out and he'll have his chance to make contact with her.  He hangs on as she goes into the back entrance of the store.  She puts on an apron and removes her earbuds putting them in her bag.  She then stashes her bag on the shelf in the back room. 

 

This is his opportunity and Jack screams her name as loud as he can.  She looks around wondering who is calling her.  She thinks it's one of the other employees and walks to the front of the store leaving him stranded behind on the floor of the storeroom.  Jack looks up at her bag on the shelf and doesn't see anyway to climb up to it. 

 

Jack decides his best option is to go out in the store and get Lydia's attention.  He  makes his way to the front and finds himself behind the counter.  He can see Lydia as well as two other female employees.  The woman closest to him is a cute blond looks about the same age as Lydia maybe a bit younger.  The other women looks to be in her early thirties a tall thin brunette who he figures must be the manager.    Lydia is he furthest away from Jack waiting on customers.  The blond is taking the buns out of the oven, cutting and coating them in thick gooey icing before putting them in the counter window.   The manager seems to bounce back and forth doing whatever is needed mostly filling the customer orders. 

 

Jack wants to get to Lydia as she is his only hope to get restored and starts to work his way to the far end behind the counter.  He make slow progress until
