A touching moment between mother and daughter
"I hate you!" screamed Emily, as the salt air whipped their hair. Mother and daughter on their way to a very wrong day out. "This was supposed to be my treat on my own! How am I supposed to express myself..."

"..sexually?" Pam smiled.

"I HATE you!" screamed the distraught girl.

Pam didn't even bother to answer. She just stared out to sea feeling the wind on her face and imagining what hell her angry frustrated young daughter was going to wreak on a whole country of people less than a millimeter tall. Or what hell she would wreak on them. She licked her lips, tasting the salt air.

This was going to be beyond a diplomatic incident, she knew. War? No. Brobdingnag only allowed rights to Lilliput to placate the Gulliverians. And they only did that for the political faction who cared. What could the Brobbies do if they broke the peace? She smiled. Time to stop pandering to insects!

Pamela had been born into money and had married into far more money as a teenager. He died, she prospered, as had her spoiled daughter. The world was whatever they wanted. She looked at Emily. She was shorter than her, at only 5'6 she hadn't inherited her mother's build and Pam was still taller with longer legs even now. And honestly, she liked the jealousy!

After some thought, Pamela had decided on, a fashionable swimsuit, under an even more fashionable ensemble consisting of a plain black halter top with matching skirt, above the knee, sheer stockings and thigh-high black leather boots with a wedge heel. Emily was probably wearing something too. She reminded herself to pay attention later.

Customs. The official is agitated. Little man in an ill fitting uniform. Speaking of which.... Emily is wearing a tartan miniskirt, a short white top and stupidly impractical high heel platform sandals. Pam sighed.

"You really want to go through? Both of you?" From his eyes he was almost pleading.

"You do know who I am?"

"Yes ma'am." he mumbled, "But please be careful. Please. I've worked here a long time and they're people too and..."

Pam glared and pushed the small man aside as they passed into Lilliput...

Mother and daughter walked for a minute.

"Where is it?" wailed Emily.

Pam smirked despite herself. "Look down, Emily! If I'm going to get you into Lilliput, the least you could do is pay attention!"

She indicated down. Between them was a bumpy patch on the ground; a town of tiny 2mm high buildings. Small blurs of colour were crowds of people... The whole village was less a foot across!

On the ground, the people of Lundfulnap stared up in terror. It was near enough to the customs checkpoint that they had seen Brobdingnagians, and sometimes the old official talked to them from a distance, but the shaking ground and the sight of a pair of boots well over a kilometer long and a pair of platforms with a heel nine hundred metres tall was something no-one was prepared for. The ground shook with each of the giantesses footsteps. Windows shattered and powerful winds blew down the streets bringing clouds of dust. Older buildings collapsed and people where knocked over.

"Thank you mom, thank you!" Emily cried stepping over and embracing her mother, and treading on half the village. With her two inch sole she didn't even notice.
