Derrick has several more Lilliputians to pick up
Derrick lowered Luke and Jessica into a large plastic container with no lid. Soon after, Derrick started his car and took off. The plastic floor underneath Luke and Jessica didn’t offer much grip, so the couple went tumbling backwards when the gigantic car started to move.
“Try not to stand up.” A friendly voice said beside them. “It’s too easy to lose your balance when you stand up.”
“Thanks for the tip,” Jessica said genuinely. She and Luke looked around and noticed they weren’t alone. There were many Lilliputians just like them all around the container. They all had bags on their back and looked as if they were travelling. Moving to Derrick’s home as roommates no doubt. “I thought we were the only roommates Derrick signed on for,” she said to Luke.
“I guess having many Lilly roommates makes sense for Derrick. I mean, look how big he is. I bet even with all of us, it wouldn’t take up a whole lot of room in his home. I hope he lowers the rent too.” Luke whispered back.
“You’re so cheap.”
Derrick brought his car to a rolling stop and then got out. Jessica admired his strong back muscles as his huge mass exited the car.
“My name is Joshua, by the way.” The friendly Lilly said. “So are you guys excited?”
