The first thing that Luke and Jessica noticed about Gulliveria was how overwhelmingly gigantic the world had become. Even just standing on the sidewalk, watching the enormous cars rumble by, was a reminder of how small they were. They stayed by the bus stop for awhile, hesitant to move. Gulliverians walked by from time to time, their colossal footsteps causing the ground to vibrate beneath them. For the most part, the giants didn’t seem to notice the two Lilliputians and Luke and Jessica quickly realized that they could be flattened by accident.
Fortunately, there was a library near the bus stop and they scurried inside. To their relief, the library was nearly empty and they found a quiet area where they could search for roommates. Using Jessica’s smartphone, they found an online listing of potential roommates. After some thought, they narrowed the choices down to the following:
