Getting the can of beer out of her bag, Trish smirked and imagined the suffering the specks were about to endure. Leaning over the town centre where all the tall buildings are, she tipped the can slightly so the beer could pour out. She poured it out on top of the tallest building which stood 864ft to the Lillies, but was two inches to her. The small amount she poured was enough to do serious damage to the building and she watched it partially collapse under the weight of the alcohol and it fell to the streets.
Hundreds of Lillies on the streets and in the building were crushed and drowned under a mixture of beer and concrete. She then downed the rest of the beer and dropped the can onto the town, killing thousands.
The thousands of tons of aluminium caused so much destruction and death and to Trish? It weighed pretty much nothing. She crushed the can under her boot and this was just a small demonstration of what she can do. Thinking about the speck in her necklace, she removed the small piece containing Connie and placed it in the small puddle of beer.
“There you go Connie, just look at what I’ve done. I know your parents worked in one of those buildings and they’re now dead, probably from instant alcohol poisoning.” Trish said smiling.
Abbie was still frozen in her garden, looking up at the boot that went up over a mile above her. She just witnessed what happened. She wanted to run but couldn’t as she was too scared to move. She felt doomed either way. She was just glad she wasn’t Connie or all those already killed and those still swimming in the beer right now. That was the only positive she had and it was at the expense of the suffering of others
