Many a breath would be held in anticipation for the events which unfolded. The monitor high above which seemed to be running through the lists of names at a quickened pace. Each name up there for just long enough to be seen before kicking away and being lost to the scramble. As they would fall off and the numbers would dwindle down, so would the speed in which they left the screen. For Abigail and Connie, both of them couldn't contain their excitement knowing neither name had been displayed yet.

It would practically become slow motion, each slight tick resonating into Abbie's core as she would notice Connie's name pop up onto the screen. She feeling her friend squeeze her hand to the point that if she weren't so distracted, Abbie would have pulled her hand away. For what felt like an eternity her name would hang there, and for a moment Abbie would lose hope for her dream. Though in that moment she would practically hear the echo that was the monitor switching over to a name, her own. She couldn't help but feel her stomach drop from the excitement, it was as if she had won already.

Of course, when she turned to look to her friend, Connie would not be showing the same excitement that Abbie currently displayed. Connie would pull her hand away as she glared in the direction of her friend, a look of pure betrayal on her face. "Connie, I....I..." Abbie would begin to stammer, trying to do her best to think of how to explain this to her friend. Though a loud gasp from the rest of the student body and even some of the faculty members would immediately bring on a sudden and eerie silence. One of which would cause Abigail confusion until she turned to look back at the monitor and immediately her face would flush of it's color.

On the screen, her name had disappeared and in it's place remained another, the winner of this contest and whom would become the Brobby, Trish Pierce. "N-no!" Abbie couldn't help but scream out as she considered what this meant. This was perhaps the last person that she and just about anyone else wanted to see become near six miles tall in comparison to her. This was after all the biggest bully of the school and now she would literally become that, able to crush so many Lili lives under just a single foot step. As Abbie would look to find Connie as a way to comfort herself, she would find that she was all but alone in this crowd.

"Oh this is too fuckin' perfect" A familiar voice would call out from behind Abigail, an ominous chuckle following it as she would feel the owner of the voice's hand coming to rest on her shoulder. Lowering her head and whimpering a bit, Abbie could do nothing but dare not look her in the eye. "H-hey Trish." She would meekly say as she continued to look away from someone who had tormented her the entirety of her life and just stole her dream. She would try anyways, it would be but a second before she would feel herself spun around to look Trish in the face, the sudden motion causing the timid girl to have a clumsy spell and fall to a seated position on the ground. As overactive as her imagination was, as she weakly turned her gaze upward, she was already picturing Trish as one of the Brobbies, already towering over her.

It was as if she shrank right there on the floor, and was already between these woman's shoes, both of them of which she would be a easily dismissible speck upon. A single lace bigger than any tree she had ever known, the minute treads underneath able to house hundreds of her kind. She nearly shrieked at the idea, and a slight sneer from Trish would follow. The bully able to pick up on the little one's fear in an instant. "Feelin' real tiny aren't you? Well you should you little speck." Trish's voice was low, husky even as it was clear she was enjoying this news very much.

"Just think, I'm about to become so gigantic you worthless little shits could actually LIVE on me. Like some sort of pests, and I could easily extinguish yours, and the entire schools lives under my thumb. Who knows, maybe a few of you would get lucky and just become lost in the print of my finger." She would laugh, and it would only cause the timid girl's stomach to turn as she shrank further into the ground in fear. Right now, she was the same size of Trish, and even that didn't help her against the delinquent. Trish was known to be violent with very few who could stand up to her. Though who could wouldn't be able to even shift on of the hairs on her head.

Grinning from ear to ear, Trish would only continue to look down upon Abbie who had yet to move. Almost in a mocking fashion she would look around, as if looking for something. "Where is Ms. Connie, did she storm off when she thought you took her dream? Pity, wasn't she your only friend?" Her words were cutting a bit deeper than Abbie would like to admit. Then again it was a specialty of hers to know some of the facts regarding her targets. Abigail in particular, too shy to have much of a social circle around her. Her type of personality being a prime target for someone like Connie who liked to be bossy at times since Abbie lacked a backbone to say otherwise.

"I tell you what runt, why don't you come visit me after I become, well, not a worthless little speck like the rest of you." Abbie would be a bit caught off guard by this, especially coming from Trish. Quite understandably, she was quick to believe that it was just Trish wanting to torment her more, though on a much bigger scale. Terrifying ti would be to see this punk that size, and she unable to do anything about it. "I....I don't..." Abbie would begin to retort, though she would immediately be cut off by Trish who raised a hand to stop her. Immediately she would stop talking as a frightened squeak escaped her. "I'd hate to see you refuse, who knows how much fun we'll have. Considering Connie just left you too, maybe I can become your biggest friend." It was undeniable, with the way Trish spoke, there was more to it. With that, the punk girl would simply turn on her heels and leave.

It would be a week later, life would go on for Abbie after the events of that night, and she was waking up much like her usual routine. Life after school was as one would expect, worse for her though as Connie still wasn't speaking to her at the moment. Upon getting dressed, she would hear the doorbell ring, a man waiting for her package in hand. After the traditional game of "sign here" was played, she would be given the box. A bit confused by what it could be, she would slowly open it, only to find a letter and a headset resting inside it. Opening the letter she would find it was from Trish with an invitation to Brobdingnag.

Immediately she felt the blood in her veins run cold as she stared down at the letter, soon looking at the headset and knowing what it meant. Trish had been serious about inviting her over, but why? It wasn't as if Abbie liked her anymore than Trish liked Abbie. In fact, the Punk girl's pet name for her was always "My favorite little punching bag." Which come to think about it, was all that she was to Trish. Biting her lip however, she couldn't help but think of Connie, her friend which believed she betrayed her. Abbie didn't have many friends, and none of them were going to become Brobdingnag's like Trish. Perhaps it was a part of her who still wanted to live her dream, even if it was through this bully. Though she had to make a decision now, would she go?
