"Come Tic-Tac, get up. Breakfast is ready."

You groaned as you stirred awake. As much as you wanted to sleep in, your sister's voice was impossible to ignore. You let out an exhausted yawn as you climbed out of the matchbox that was your bed. You trudged over the uneven carpet, approaching the towering form of your equally tired sister.

Before you contracted the virus, you looked more like Marie than you cared to admit. In addition to both being redheads, you shared similar sharp features and pale, freckled complexions. She was basically a slightly older, more statuesque version of yourself. Not that you were jealous or anything...

You waited for her to pick you up. Instead, she lifted her pajama-clad leg. Her fuzzy, pink slipper swung toward you with shocking speed. The massive footwear crashed down before you, knocking you off your feet. "Hurry up and get in. Mom made waffles and I know you're as hungry as I am." The 20-year-old boomed. You groaned as you stood back up, knowing exactly where Marie wanted you to ride. You dragged your feet as you headed reluctantly for the open front of her slipper.

"Perfect start to the day." You muttered resentfully as you squeezed between her two biggest toes. Over the last three years, Marie had developed a number of...creative ways for you to ride around with her. This was by far your least favorite. The fleshy walls shifted, pulling you further into the gap between them. You wrinkled your nose as you were engulfed by Marie's soft digits. The smell wasn't even that bad but just the idea of being little more than a person's toe-jam was gross and demeaning enough.

"Alright, let's go. I'm starving." She gently squeezed you before taking a colossal first step.
