"I'm in!" you say enthusiastically.
You've always been interested in being a cop one day but you abandoned your ambitions when you caught the shrinking virus.
"Excellent!" says the officer happily in her booming voice. "My name is Paulette by the way. Since we're partners now you can call me by my name instead of 'officer'."
"Ok Paulette" you say in a more relaxing tone. "Since I'm your partner now do you think it would be ok if I stayed with my mom?"
Paulette frowned.
"I'm afraid not. You see, what I'm doing with you isn't exactly by the book and I could get in a lot of trouble if my captain knew I took a tiny and used him for work like this." she says
"So I will never see her again?" you say, on the verge of crying.
Paulette notices how sad you are and gently pets you on your head with her finger while she drives.
"There there little guy. I will take good care of you I promise, and I will try to arrange a visit between you and your mom as soon as I can." she say in a kind voice.
You begin to feel a little better, you know that this isn't the worst fate a tiny can have. You try and think about how your new life could be exciting and how at least the woman in procession of you seems kind.
