"...and make him choose our next shrinks."
You can barely believe what you are hearing Jessica say, as the whole table suddenly focuses on you again.
"You can't be serious," you say, trapped as you are in Maddy's grasp.
"I think it's a great idea," Maddy says, immediately bringing you up to the mouth of the large bowl in the center of the table. Everyone inside it has obviously been listening, and as you are held hovering over them all, you can see that they are backing away from you, some even hiding their faces.
"It's going to be so much fun!" Jessica says, and the other women laugh and show their support for the idea.
"Since it's my idea, how about we let him pick mine first?" Jessica suggests, giving you a grin, flashing those perfect white teeth at you again. You rail at the thought of helping to feed this giantess, more so when you realise that she's still looking straight at you with that hungry look of hers.
"You heard the lady Ken, in you go," Maddy says, releasing you from her grasp. You fall a short distance, landing on your feet, and suddenly the world looks very, very different, and very, very frightening.
All around you, shrunken people are cowering in fear, those at the back doing their best not to draw your attention. Everyone is backing away from you, and you can feel the anger and hostility right under the surface of their fear. Turning your eyes skyward, you find yourself staring up at truly tremendous women, Pam and Maddie on your right, Jessica right in front of you, to your left, Elena and Vicky, and Becca behind you. All of them look hungry, and you realise that they are waiting for you to pick.
