Chapter 14
"You know hun, I might take you up on that offer of yours," you hear your mom say. Looking up at the gap in the zipper of the bag, you hesitate, not wanting to jump only to miss it and fall.
"You know you deserve a break Ally, when was the last time you had some privacy!" says Pam, her tone reassuring, nothing at all like how she was speaking to you earlier. "I'm just next door after all."
"Mom no! Please, don't leave me with her," you cry out, suddenly wishing you had just climbed out the bag earlier and made a run for it. It's too late now, and you see the massive form of your giantess mother as her fingers undo the zip of her handbag, letting all the light into the bag. You suddenly realise that you're perched on top of her liquid mascara.
"Ken, I know you and Pam haven't always seen eye to eye, but I really need this," your mom says, plucking you out of the bag and carrying you over to the bed where Pam is sitting, waiting. You can see the mischief in her eyes, though you are sure your mom only sees her sweet, caring and thoughtful best friend waiting to help her.
"I'll take good care of him Al, you won't have to even think about the poor kid," Pam says sweetly, as your mom drops you into the palm of her outstretched hand.
"Mom, she's going to eat me, please don't do this!"
"Oh hush, you know just as well as I do that that's not true," your mom says, sitting down beside Pam. The two women look like mountains as you stare up at them, fearful and angry and unable to do anything to save yourself.
"Pamela..." your mom says, turning to her friend.
"Of course I won't sweetie, you have my word," Pam replies, smiling broadly at your mom as she does.
"There Ken, she promised," your mom says," now, be a good boy and don't give Pam any trouble alright?"
"But mom!"
"And now, I have some soaking to do, and room service should be over soon," your mom says, taking no notice of you as she gets up along with Pam.
