Feeling like a failure
She holds you in her open palm as she tells you that she's sorry for the run down apartment and being a pizza girl doesn't pay very well. Seeing that she took you from your home, you don't really care for her sob story thus far.
"So why the hell did you kidnap me?" you say, angerly.
To your surprise, the young woman looks like she's about to cry. That wasn't the reaction you were expecting from her.
"Because I'm a failure and my life's a joke!" she says, holding back her tears.
You're completely perplexed by her answer. Your feelings of anger and hostility fade as a feelings of confusion and sympathy take their place.
"I'm sorry?" you respond in a confused tone.
"I'm a fucking failure! I really wanted to go to college but my family is poor and there was no way to pay for it. So, I got this job in hopes to pay for it myself but the bills keep piling up and I can't even afford half of the yearly tuition!"
"I'm sorry, that must be really rough" you say, trying to sound sympathetic. "But what does all that have to do with kidnapping me?"
The young woman brings you closer to her face, studying you intensively.
"I'm completely alone. Every guy I've been with has either left me for a more successful woman or has flat out cheated on me. Needless to say, I'm lonely, and since I can't afford a pet I saw an opportunity when I encountered you. So, I've decided to adopt you as my tiny little companion." the woman says with a subtle smile.
You're surprised. Nobody you've heard of ever kidnaps a tiny for companionship, it's usually to eat them or enslave them. You don't really know what to say. On one hand you do sympathize with her, on the other she did kidnap you.
"But you can't keep me.." you start to say
Tears begins to roll down the young woman's face as she starts to cry. You hate to see the poor girl cry and you really start to feel for her.
How do you respond?
