"Um, well, as nice as that sounds miss. I'd like to go home to my mother" you say, trying to be as polite as possible.
"But sweetie, I'm your mommy now. I'm adopting you yes I am!" coos Allison, wiggling her finger in front of you.
You start to feel a little humiliated.
"Please listen Allison" you say. "I was captured by a tiny collection company and taken to a grocery store where I was almost eaten and all I wanted was to be with my mom again. Surely a nice girl like you can understand that."
Allison's smiles slowly fades and turns into a serious expression. She's still smiling a little but you can tell she's more serious now.
