"Excuse me?" you say.
You are a bit surprised to hear that, it definitely wasn't something you were expecting. You know that there are pet stores out there that sell tinies geared towards people who see them as adorable companions but they're in the minority and tinies designated as food almost never end up as pets.
"I think it's the option that makes the most sense." states Emily.
"How?" you ask.
"Well, to be honest Ken you're pretty cute and I've thought you were. A tiny like you is way too adorable to be eaten." explains Emily. "On the other hand, you are also extremely tasty and there's no doubt in my mind that if you stayed with me I wouldn't be able to resist gobbling you up. So to protect you and so you can be with someone who would never eat a tiny I will sell you to a pet store that I know sells tinies. Besides, I can make a little extra money this way too. Tinies like you are extremely valuable, especially since the young cute guys are usually the first to be eaten."
You can't deny Emily's logic. It does seem like the best option for you at this point; however, you don't understand why Emily can't just bring you back to your mother. As Emily reaches for you to take away you ask her just that.
"Wait why can't you just take me back to my mom?" you ask.
Emily's hand pauses and she opens her mouth to speak. What does she say?
