“We’re stopping for the night, so you’ll sleep with me,” she stated. Her friend put the car in reverse to park the car. Jamie held you in her cupped palm, petting your back with her thumb.
You couldn’t see beyond the dashboard, but you could tell they were looking forward to leaving the car. After a few seconds, Susan finished, and she and Jamie both reached for their respective doors. You were swung in her other fist as she left the car. When she opened it back up, Susan was opening the trunk and beginning to take out each of their bags. When Susan handed her suitcase to her, Jamie quickly plopped you on top of her head and used her second hand to steady the suitcase.
“Let’s play a little game,” she squeals in delight up to you. “See whether you can handle the motion.”
You didn’t have much a choice, of course, as she began walking into the hotel. You held your balance as she bobbed her head back and forth as they walked up to the lobby, got a room, and headed for it.
Once inside…
