"Ken is fully capable of looking after himself. He may be small, but he is tough. He's my friend and I can't let you just take his freedom away." argues Kristen.
Lilly lets out a long sigh telling Kristen to sit down on the spare chair she has in her office.
"Look, it's clear that you really care about your little friend here. "says Lilly gently patting her breast pocket.
"Yes, I do." admits Kristen.
"I admire that. I really do. But you have to understand that even though Ken is tough he will never make it in this cruel world on his own. Deep down you and I both know that he will either get gobbled up or crushed. I'm sure that is almost happened to him many times. The only way he will have a nice life is if he is a pet. There are very few people like that in the world, but I am one of them. I've taken a special liking to him, that's why he's my pet now. You don't need to worry. I will take good care of him and keep him safe. Ok?" says Lilly in a gentle tone.
