“Wait. The woman who lives there was expecting me,” you protest. “You got to take me back.”
“Oh hon, if she was expecting you, she would have been there to keep yourself from getting nabbed.”
You didn’t know what to say to this. You’re just panicking at how quickly your normal life can disappear right before your eyes.
“Now, all these mail runs can be tiring,” she continues. “I could use a boost in spirits.”
